When you go during the week at night, the lady that makes the food is dicey at best. Food is old, chewy and when they need to remake the food it is chewy and not cooked all the way through. I've been craving some good Mexican for a long time now so today I decided to pull the trigger. I ordered my fiancé the quesadilla plate (medium) which was a hearty portion & might I add it looked fire. My best friend & I decided to go with the burritos, I had fajita he went with the chicken. The burrito was the size of a newborn baby so I was already impressed, my buddy then picked up his bag and stated "damn this s**** heavy." Ordered from Uber eats. We had tacos, torta. burritos, fajitas, and aqua fracas. The drinks - medium size cup for $2.99 so not great value - the pina was good, the lemon was a little sour. Tacos - street style - over priced Torta - was ok but by the time it arrived the beard was all wet and mushy from the sauces. Burrito was good - Fajitas - terrible. Dry , salty, over cooked, and probably the worse fajitas I can remember eating. But this is also dangerous and upsetting - my 3 year old started eating the fajitas before I had a chance to try them. Because they were so chewy she started to dangerously chocking on them. It took a little while to clear her throat and was very scary. Hubs and I live right down the street from this place. Hubs is addicted to the tacos. He says they taste like authentic street tacos. I always get the Baja Salad and I love it. I did order the Burritos and the Chicken Torta and they were huge. It was definitely worth the price. The burrito was about the size of a 18oz Hydro Flask, not in length, but in girth. I did place an order online, unfortunately the set up of the online menu is not as cohesive as the physical menu. I did place the order online anyways and I called after the order was sent to clarify that my order needed to be adjusted. The staff are Spanish speakers so I advise to be patient. I ordered online through Uber Eats from Senor Burritos. The food arrived hot, fresh, and was tasty. I do wish the online menu was more clear or that they would just add a make your own burrito section so that you could select your own ingredients. I ordered the Super Burrito. I thought I was getting a burrito with eggs, beans, and cheese and adding chorizo. What I got was just Chorizo and egg. My favorite breakfast burritos are in Galveston- the Surprise Burrito- bacon, eggs, beans, cheese, chorizo and potatoes. Basically everything wrapped in a tortilla! Wish I could have ordered one like that, but the options were not there. I will probably try this place again when I can place my order in person. If they update the ordering options to allow more add on selections on Uber Eats I will become a regular customer. I'm back with an update! I finally got to eat at the restaurant and was so happy that I did. The owner is very sweet and helpful. My first visit, they were serving a very large party. I was shocked to see that he still made sure my family was treated like VIP guests regardless of how busy they were. It's been like that every time! I got to taste their ground beef taco which despite being super greasy was AMAAAAAZZZING. I have been searching high and low for a healthier version of a Taco Bell taco and I have found it! This place is a gem! My husband told me he goes here a lot on his way to work for breakfast and finally he took me and our two little ones on his day off. Of course the staff knows him by now, but the guy who runs the place is a gem himself also. You can tell he has a passion for what he does.
