My wife has grown so frustrated in the game that she she said she was not going to play again until she had lessons. We tried it once before and the results were negligible, so I wasn't too enthusiastic about it. However, they had a great deal on couple's lessons. Three one hour lessons for a $150. We met Matt and it became readily apparent that he was not like the teacher we had tried before elsewhere. The long and the short of it is this we learned so much in those 3 hours, we already seeing improvement in our game. He was professional, knowledgeable, attentive and his lesson plan made the best use of the allotted time. I wanted to tip him, but he declined saying we already paid him. That's character if you ask me. Whatever your skill level, I believe he can help you improve.

Cut to standard length even though paperwork said 3/4", then wanted to use extensions. I said no, so they said it would take a week and a half to get new shafts. I had gotten them in 2 days. 2 weeks go by still don't have clubs. They are now pushing having my irons for a month. No urgency to correct a mistake they made on their end. Extremely disappointed.

On the 9th hole you are able to call ahead to have your food prepared when you finished the hole. I ended up getting a pulled pork sandwich and it was pretty good. However, I would probably try the club sandwich next time. Overall the course has a unique layout, some challenging holes, and is a great course for the value (around $70 during prime time). We were considering quitting and getting our money back after hole 3 when their rules guy came out to tell us to play faster. That made us all upset and affected our golf games as well. It is common courtesy to allow an oncoming group to pass, which we were doing, yet the course rule enforcement guys were dictating our pace. We decided on playing four player scramble in order to keep up. This course should consider becoming private if they are pushing this on everyone. I will not be coming back unless they ease off.

We both had the thick cut New York strip, with grilled asparagus and roasted baby red potatoes. I'm going to place my meal here in the top five best meals I have ever had. But the steak, that was hands down the best part; high quality cut of meat that lived up to the thick cut menu description, seasoned and cooked perfectly with almost no fat. The steak came with caramelized sautéed mushrooms and onions that were a wonderful compliment. The asparagus was nicely grilled with great flavor and a good crunch, something that I loved because I hate mushy over cooked asparagus. The baby red potatoes were also perfectly cooked and seasoned. The staff was amazing to work with. The course was beautiful and the service exceptional from Andrew. He assisted in helping us get this event off the ground as we had never planned an outing before.
