Once I got there, I had a picture ready to go of what I wanted to get, acrylic nails in an almond shape. As she didn't speak a ton of English, there wasn't any small talk, but that's totally fine with me. She asked about the length, shape, and everything before she proceeded at each point. She was very delicate and precise in placing the acrylic tips, and painting on the pink powder, which made clean up quick. The entire time she was very precise and paid attention to every detail, and my nails didn't hurt at all! Which happened when I got my first set of acrylics. The shop is very clean and well-kept, and the nail tables have vents in the center for the chemicals so that you don't breath it in directly or sit in it the entire time. The manicurists are friendly enough, and handled my 10 min delay well, but they seemed rushed once new clients arrived. So if you just need a basic manicure, this place will suit you, but if you're looking for a spa experience, I would look for something else.

I was in 2 other sugaring studios and both of them offered brazilian above 30€. So I gave it a try and scheduled an appointment. The lady on the phone was nice and it was easy to get an appointment. Said and done, the procedure itself is never easy but the depiladora made a great job. She worked as gentle as possible and precise. Cooling gel was applied after the session. The procedure itself took less than 20-25 minutes. Next things I would try at this studio are facial, mani and pedi. One star less due to the significant (chemical) smell at the entrance. I assume it is coming from the materials used for gel/acrylic nails.

When I checked in, I was offered a complimentary cappuccino while sitting in the waiting area. Some techno remixes of American songs were playing, which was fun to listen to. Juliet was lovely and escorted me upstairs to the manicure table. They charged me €5 to remove my shellac manicure before beginning the treatment. The manicure process was efficient and I was happy with the color selection. I wish there had been a lotion treatment for my hands, but my nails were well-conditioned with oils. Be warned: this salon is cash only. I tried to present a credit card to pay, since there was a notice on the door indicating they accepted Visa and Mastercards, but my nail technician said it was cash only. There's a bank across the street, but I would have preferred to pay on a card since the services are a bit more expensive than the states (€39 for a shellac manicure, about $44 USD). Compared to other salons outside the city center, I much preferred the chic vibes here!
