It was not, it was just not very Mexican. There are good things to be said about Yucatan. It's quite an aesthetically pleasing and inviting atmosphere. The service was friendly and fast. The drinks, while small, were tasty. My problem was with the food. Mexican food is vibrant and flavorful, the food here was a bit bland. I just wanted a bit more flavor. The guacamole was fantastic, though, so cheers for that.

I really liked the atmosphere, too. And most importantly, the food was delicious. Be sure to check out the rhubarb compote they have on the table.
