The place has been here as long as I can remember coming here to shop at the Summit. I've been…read moreusing their verbena shower gel for a while now and just love the scent! On my last visit here, I got a travel size hand and body cream scent in their Mon Amor scent. Both smelled amazing and are super nourishing on my skin. I LOVE their products. The store itself is small but they have so many products. They also had a facial soap I was really interested in and reasonably priced at $14. Some of their other products were a bit pricier. The associate working there was very friendly and knowledgeable about their products. I do feel a little pressure walking in there, so you may end up spending or buying more things then you intended on. Just a heads up!

Yes, they sell French soap and hand cream and other fragrances here. But guess what? It's no more…read moreexpensive than items you'd buy at Bath & Body Works. I probably would have never ventured in here had I not received these mini L'Occitane soaps at a resort in Mexico. It's Verbena scented, French milled, pure vegetable soap. The small, square soap that I received at the resort seems to last forever and the scent is heavenly. I was pleasantly surprised how long that mini soap lasted. Anyway, I was down to my last mini bar of soap from the resort (yes, I snagged as many as the house keeper would leave for me) and I remembered this store was in The Summit. The store is 1/3 the size of Bath and Body Works, but it really doesn't need to be bigger. Honestly, I never went in the store previously because I just thought it wasn't my kind of store. But I'm glad I went in ! The soap comes in a huge, brick-like, oversized bar and also smaller squares (but bigger than the minis I received at the resort.) As soon as I walked in I told the extremely nice and helpful sales person what I was looking for and she knew immediately. She was awesome and not pushy at all. She explained the kind of soaps and what makes them different than regular soap. If you want to give something nice as a "thank you" or house-warming or host gift, take a stop in here and look around. They also have body oils, body creams and shower gels, as well as perfume. The scents aren't over-powering or cloyingly sweet because they are all made from natural, not man-made ingredients, like lavender, verbena, almond, and shea. They only have a handful of scents so you won't be overwhelmed by choices. And there is also a men's section. Now, you WILL pay a bit more for the large sizes of some items and it may seem to be a bit much for shower gel. But, because the bar soaps lasts FOREVER, so I was totally ok with buying the smaller size for $8. Sure, it's an indulgence, but why not treat yourself to something special? Next time you're walking around The Summit, check it out. It's right down from the Apple Store.
