I went white water rafting today w/ Sequoia Adventures and had the best time ever. The check in process was smooth. Rachel, one of the staff members was super friendly and assisted with the forms we needed to complete and made sure everyone was set. She also filmed several clips of our adventure which turned out great. José, the photographer took some amazing shots of our trip. The pictures captured the thrill and excitement we all experienced going down the rapids. Brian, our guide was also amazing. He was calm, professional, guided us well and kept us safe. We had an amazing time doing a beginner rafting experience!!! This was perfect for our very nervous seven and nine year-old first timers. Rachel and her team went out of their way to make our kids feel comfortable and they had many fun and creative things planned throughout the trip to keep them engaged. Our guides Bryan and Tovi were fantastic! Bryan was really knowledgeable about the area and things to do. Tovi was great in the Kayak making sure we got through the rapids safely. Tovi even showed us a turtle and some wildlife. All 3 of us said it was a great adventure and we had a great time! Kevin also made sure we got safely to our drop off and helped us get loaded and back to camp safely. I would highly recommend Sequoia Adventures. Gave us instruction on what to do, and off we went. What an amazing trip! We went WWR in early June of 2025. Danimal was our guide. We are a family of four... my wife and I, and our 12 year old daughter and our 7 year old son. It was class 2/3 rapids, so it wasn't much in terms of difficulty, but we had a great time. Our daughter was terrified, and our son was thrilled beyond belief. It was really funny. Dan was really good with the kids. The escort kayakers took both of our kids onto their kayaks at a smooth portion of the river, and they were both very thrilled about that. All in all I'm glad we did it, and the company was very professional, and we had a great time. It was very homey, and very personal. I would have no problem recommending Sequoia Adventures. read more

It was my first time rafting and it was the adventure of a lifetime with a couple of my girlfriends. Our guide, Tovi, was so knowledgeable, kind, patient and funny. He spent alot of time training us with all the ins and outs of rafting, commands and what to do and not do in certain situations. I've been to two different rafting trips in Three Rivers with two different companies so I am able to compare my experiences. We arrived a few minutes early to our appointment and we were yelled at for being late. At first we thought it was a joke she was yelling at us but she seemed to be serious. Maybe she has a strange sense of humor? When they launched the rafts it was more down river than the previous company. The previous company I went on prided theirselves in launching at a higher point in the river added additional rapids. Our rafting guide was not very friendly. I was yelled at and insulted me for not paddling with strength, which is unusual because I own a kayak. I am a grown man so I take insults all the time, but I paid this company to give me a good time. The little things kind of ruined the rest of the trip. The tour guide did not go above and beyond. When we surfed rapids they chose a very tiny one. I have great memories of surfing larger rapids at the previous company. I felt like the tour guide was lazy and thought about how little work he could do to finish the trip. Given two routes in the river he would rather choose the easy way because it was less work. Finishing the trip we had to take off our gear. At the previous company we had a chance to rinse ourselves. However, when I asked if I could get fresh water he told me to go to the river. There was a water hose five feet away so I felt like he was too lazy to show me how to use it. We still had fun. I think we had lazy, bitter tour guide and he did not go above and beyond like the previous company. Maybe this is an isolated case. The other tour guide on another boat seemed friendlier. read more

I had such a great time on my very first whitewater rafting trip through Sequoia Adventures. Dave and Carol took excellent care of our group the entire weekend. On top of being extremely professional with their operations, they're just really pleasant, hospitable and fun people to hang out with. We stayed at the pickup sight (Three Rivers Hideaway) and the bathroom & shower facilities were very clean and well working. Our guide, Ivan, was awesome. The conditions we had to deal with were not ideal due to the shallow waters, so as expected, we got stuck quite a bit on some rocks. Ivan (and the rest of the guides) all put in an excessive amount of manual labor to free our boats from the rocks and make sure that the trip went as smoothly as possible. The weather was perfect, the rapids were a blast and overall, I had an excellent experience. I'll definitely want to come back to raft w/ Sequoia Adventures next year! read more

First time to do white river rafting and it was all worth it. We had the type II-III tour. It was a good start for us, beginners. Next year we will do the half day tour with more intense drops and rapids. read more
