I've been working with Rosemarie for about a year now. During this time she has guided me through some very tough situations. She is compassionate and understanding. I started going to serenity Counselling during a very rough patch in my life - thankfully I found them because what I thought was a rough patch turned out to be nothing compared to what was around the corner - the concern, sincerity and compassion the therapist provides is amazing - I am fortunate some people look forever to find the right therapist for them! It isn't always easy and you don't aways hear what you want to hear - but at the end of the session I aways leave with a more positive thought! read more

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with 15 years of experience working in community and private settings. I am very compassionate in helping others to achieve their dreams and goal. I am committed to helping my clients learn skills to cope with any life challenges. My goal is help you restore balance in your life by utilizing various treatment approaches that best meet your individual needs. I believe that life can stand in the way of pursuing our dreams. Sometimes we are "stuck" and need help moving forward to live a meaningful life. I believe in a holistic approach in helping clients utilize mind, body, and spirit. I provide a safe, comfortable therapeutic environment and utilize various treatment approaches that best meet the needs of each client. I am skilled in Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Group Therapy, Crisis Intervention and Trauma, specialization in Women's Issues and Co-Occurring disorders.
