We weren't actually sure where to go once inside the hotel - so I would say they do need to move the signage upstairs to the first floor - but we asked the front desk and they directed us down the stairs where we did see the signage! When we walked in we were greeted by a super friendly woman who checked us in. The space is small but warm. We had a nice couples massage. The room was nice and also warm and inviting - what you would expect for a spa. Our therapists were great and massages were exactly what we needed! This place was easy to book, was super accommodating, provided great service and were super friendly! The outside looks like a little red barn and inside was clean and had a relaxing/homey feeling! After a day of snowboarding (for the first time) my calves and feet were needing some attention so I ditched the slopes for the spa on day two of our trip. Although a full body massage sounded nice, I went for the Trail Mix Leg & Foot Treatment (50 Minutes at $65). This leg and foot was just what the doctor ordered! It begin with me turning on the massage chair ;) and a roasted chestnut soak and callous removal. For the next 35-40 mins my treatment included a whipped honey scrub, a skin softening chocolate mask, hot towels, a leg & feet massage with vanilla bourbon oil, lotion, & hot stones and finally ended with a Honey Heel Glaze treatment to lock in moisture -- and my feet and legs are still silky soft! At first Tarin was very gentle and I was worried the massage would be mediocre, but she blew it out of the water with the perfect deep massage on my calves and feet... She could feel how tight they were and really dug in. It was just what I needed! I do want to notate and give a shout out to Tarin for the awesome customer service when I was in a bind after making an appointment. My boyfriend went to the slopes and I was on my own... When I went to start the car it wouldn't start and as you know in this area, there is a lack of transportation if it's not to a ski resort. I called to explain the situation and she instantly said she would block off a little time after my scheduled appointment time to give me a little wiggle room to get there, and if for some reason, it didn't work out that she would not charge me a cancellation fee. This was so kind and accommodating, and I very much appreciated that understanding and willingness to be flexible despite my situation. It ease my mind they gave me time to figure out a way to get there and still enjoy my time without being stressed. Not all places will be this kind and accommodating, so I come in a small town spa for doing so! Like I said 10 out of 10 experience, I already told my boyfriend I'd be happy to come back to the area and if we do, I will definitely be making an appointment to come back here! Exchanging $270.00 paid to her square account under her personal business as MWV Massage or Life and Earth Massage. We had been communicating two weeks prior to this exchange that she or this company was to custom make 10 sets of herbal pillows to my business totaling to 30 items. I was to get these items by or before DEc 1st to retail them in my business for the holiday season. Samantha promised me these items would take a 12 day lead time from when I paid, which I paid on November 11th.. Samantha went as far as sending me mock up pictures with tags and logos.. After Samantha collected my money I never heard from her again. I sent many emails and called her everyday. The so-called "Tranquillow business" line was always busy. She gave me her personal number in the first email and she never answered or returned my phone calls. In her voice recording when I would call her, she would state her MWV Life and earth Massage business which is what my credit card statement says for collecting the $270.. I feel she is an imposture and faked this business to collect money from innocent small business owners. Her website for this so-called business she collected money from me has her picture on it which is the same picture on her Life and Earth Massage Facebook business page. I would like to warn people about doing business with Samantha Mitchell. On her FB business page she claims she does reiki and positive energy. A person who practices healing work would not STEAL from another. She stole from me. She never sent my product I purchased from her. She stole from my small business. She finally returned an email 6 weeks later saying she was to ship them and would give me a tracking. She's a lier. She said that so I would stop calling her daily and emailing her. I hope this helps to warn others about doing business with this woman who steals. I can't imagine her massage or healing work doing any good for others if she does not practice what she preaches. Samantha if you read this, please refund my $270. It's an easy fix. You just reverse the charge done one your MWV massage square account. Once you refund the transaction I will get my money back ASAP and will gladly do an update on this review. This was mine and my sister in law's first massage and we had an amazing experience! My other friend has had a massage before and said that this was def one of the best she's had. Sam makes you feel very comfortable. She has a nice soothing voice, and has a very zen nature about her. I will def be going back here any chance I get. Private changing room - it locks and you have a code to access. From the salt lounge to the sauna. Three parts - a sitting area (and benches outside as well); shower complete with shampoo, body wash and conditioner; and sauna itself. The heater, rocks and ladled water did its work. Walked out totally relaxed. Complimentary chocolates, nuts and pineapple tea. I have only one suggestion. Please don't use the small bottles of water. They cause so much plastic waste. Maybe provide each guest with a pitcher full of water and glass.
