As a tourist in the area for a quick meal, this was an overall amazing experience. When you enter the restaurant, it is decorated with historic art of Italy. We had the pleasure to speak with the head chef and he shared how the pasta is made in house daily, as well as the freshness of the food. The service was amazing and we were able to see the truffle pasta made in a Parmesan Wheel table side which was an amazing experience. One of the best pizzas in Matosinhos. I would recommend it for anyone around this area. The owner is very nice and sometimes comes to the table to check how everything is going. The pizzas are made on the hour, always with fresh ingredients. They also good deserts and other Italian options but so far I haven't tried them. read more

Wow. There were four of us looking for a nice Italian meal and this spot delivered. My carbonara was the best outside of Rome I have ever had, gluten free carbonara my friend had was outstanding, amaratriciana (sp) and ravioli also A+. The service was great too as well as the deserts. There are not a ton of choices for Italian in Porto but this place is outstanding. Can't wait to come back! read more

We found this restaurant during our extended stay in Matosinhos and went back a number of times. It was wonderful to be able to enjoy pizza and pasta again with their GF options. Was visiting Portugal with my family, and we decided to come here last minute in search of true Italian food. Our expectations were beyond met, we stuffed ourselves with some of the best pizza and pasta we've ever had. When you walk in, there are bins of fresh pasta waiting to be prepared (that's when I knew we came to the right place). We started with the Focaccia Molisana, a pizza bread that so was delicious. We then each got a pasta; I got the Pasta al Tartufo Nero di Norcia, a black truffles and cream sauce with rotini pasta. It was everything I wanted and more, and was the favorite pasta of the table. Even though we were far too full, we ordered gelato and tiramisu for dessert. As you can guess, it was amazing like the rest of the food. If you are in Matosinhos, you HAVE to stop in and try this place. Service was amazing, and the food was to die for. If I ever come back, I'll be sure to visit again. read more
