This is a small restaurant in Commerce area and certainly the spot for buying "cooked meat" by the pound or by a set dollar amount if you're busy but still want something seasoned. In the 20 minutes that I was there dining in I already saw three people doing this. I ordered the Carne Asada fries and it was certainly not the best :( it had no fresh guac and no fresh cheese -- if you want really good carne asada fries just drive one more minute down the street to Taco Buchon. I would not come back for these types of fries. Meat flavors are ok, nothing that is amazing unfortunately. I would come back for the Horchata drink though! And the lady at the cash register is helpful and nice! They take tap cards and Apple Pay. Inside this is a small restaurant with a few tables and it's a small kitchen so they serve people one by one. Parking lot is small but suffice to say that it's enough bc you just order to eat real quick and go OR pickup / takeout. read more

Discovered another taco spot in LA. One of the best I ever tasted. I order asada, pastor and chorizo. Very fresh and moist. I highly recommend this hidden place. Came back again and tried the taquitos and they were very good. A must try. (7/31/25) read more

My favorite little no fuss spot for tacos when I'm in the area. They most definitely blow Tacos Gavilan and Tacos Mexico outta the water . Their Asada is way better quality than king taco, and doesn't come out of a bag and then thrown onto the grill for reheating. The staff is friendly and they aren't stingy with their lemons/onion/cilantro and salsa. Absolutely delicious,and worth a try if you're in the area. read more

Absolutely superb food and service. This is a "hole in the wall" spot that really delivers. Had tacos, mulitas, burritos and aguas frescas. Awful, the food was cold. This is not just a matter of unpleasantness, but more of a matter of food safety. I ordered two today's and a bean and cheese burrito. Both tortas were cold with unmelted cheese, but he bread on both sandwiches tasted old and slightly stale. The bean and cheese burrito had a 1 inch layer of cheese that was also unmelted. This food is so horrible, literally the worse food I've had in the last 5 years. It was so bad that when I got home, I threw it away and cooked some top ramen instead. Stay away from this place - it could make you sick. read more

I went to Sergio's looking for a chile relleno burrito. I found through yelp that they had a pretty good one. The burrito was very good. One of my favorites. It wasn't a Chile relleno burrito like they do at other places. You know they put a roasted chile pasilla and then they ad egg and cheese. It was an actual Chile relleno in a burrito with beans and rice. I loved it. The service was excellent very friendly and attentive staff. The place was tiny, a hole in the wall but the burrito made everything else insignificant. I can't wait to go back and try other things on their menu. read more

The tacos are great but the only reason i give 3 stars is because the cook does not use gloves, I mean we all sweat from our hand when we are handling hot warm stuff in this case the food, I just cant eat when my food is being handled with bare sweaty hands read more

I was a bit hungry after shopping at the Citadel and decided to stop by and order a quick bite to eat. The inside is small but they offer tables to sit at where you can enjoy your meal. I only ordered a bean, cheese, with added onion burrito and the hottest chili salsa. Been coming to this place for years now. Not that often considering this is down the st from moms, but enough to leave a review. I really like their asada tortas & their pastor burritos love the Jamaica. Love love it. The red salsa is good and spicy. Prices seem like they went up. What isn't going up in price tho SMH You can eat outside if no one is in there because this place is super tiny. I did notice that they have seating outside by the parking area. Think whoever is in the area should try this place out if you have an appetite for Mexican food. read more

I've been coming to Sergio's Tacos for years, and it's always been a special place for me and my family. Whenever I wasn't feeling well, my dad would bring me a Carne Asada Burrito from here, and it always hit the spot. Somehow, it made me feel so much better every time. Every Sunday, it became a tradition for us to come and enjoy their Menudo--it's the best I've ever had. I asked for rice beans and 2 eggs. i got home, and realized they drowned my eggs in red sauce, which i didn't ask for that, and when i returned with the eggs, they were very rude about fixing it saying thats how they do it and we're not going to fix or refund my order DO NOT COME HERE GO TO LUCKY BURGERS NEXT DOOR Luckys is ways better anyways read more

I had their tacos and they were pretty good! The meat was really good in flavor. The salsas are also tasty. I have not tasted any of their other dishes which is why I kept my review at 4 stars, but will be trying other plates. The location is small, but there is seating inside and outside too. Small parking lot, but the street there has some spots if you're lucky. The workers were nice and helpful! read more

Partner brought me home a burrito. There "carne asada" looked more like boiled meat. There was no maillard coloring to suggest it was grilled(maillard is the reaction proteins have with intense heat that makes it appear with color and signs of being grilled/seared. Or flavor for short ). It just tasted chewy and sour(probably a citrus marinade that's heavy with lime). I had to remove it from the burrito to at least enjoy something to eat. There red salsa is also very heavy with garlic. Like way more than any Asian foods and just over powers the entire bite. In this case, it was okay since it helped hide the sour taste the meat left behind with the beans and rice within the preprocessed flour tortilla. Might want to keep driving down the street closer to E LA to get tacos with the quality points this place read more

No frills hole in the wall Mexican restaurant. Food is soooo good and is very affordable. I had a massive chicken burrito which included chicken, rice, beans, onions, cilantro on a flour tortilla abs a large Horchata Mexican beverage. Total price: $8.85. If you do not eat hot/spicy food, the Red salsa they offer for free is good but VERRRY hot! Cleaned out my sinuses, had me in tears, tongue is numb but I could not stop adding this stuff to my burrito Location is small but there are are five or six tables inside. Parking is limited to six or seven vehicles. There are no public restrooms so bring your own hand cleaner though they do have a large bottle of hand cleaner avail on the counter Did I mention that the food is soooo good?? read more

I can't even finish two. Ask for the spicy salsa on the side. It's a spicy, Mexican style salsa. It has quite a kick!!! When the fried plantains are ripe (Platanos Fritos), they are on point. The place is a standout in the neighborhood, where there is virtually nothing. It's very large, perfect for large parties, and Freddy is a one man show who is always attentive. Come get your Salvadoran and Mexican fix on here!

Salvi approved! Ricas pupusas…read more I love that they have the option for corn or rice flour for the pupusas. Very authentic. The rice one I got revuelta and it was not greasy it was perfect. They have a wide variety of Salvadoran food and drinks too. I had the ensalada drink it was sweet and tart. I would recommend and I look forward to coming back!
