This is a fresh location that has just recently started and branched from their Midtown location…read moreinto Johnson County and I have to say that it's not like any other church I've attended before. I've been around the "religious" block a few times, I would say, and there is no pretentious feelings about being in this church that I have experienced before in may other "Johnson County" churches. The pastor isn't up there in a swanky golf get-up, babbling about judgment and hating, but preaching the Gospel Truth. Acts 29. Gospel Life. Kevin Cawley and Adam Breckenridge are both outstanding pastors. Two different styles, both set ablaze by the love of Christ. The community is friendly and inviting. And this past weekend, I was profoundly excited to see a man I'd never seen before take the worship stage and reign in my ears--Brian Key. I've only found one other man, personally, sing like he can to literally put you in a different place than where you're presently standing. A gift. An awesome church. A fresh cultivation. I pray for great things and I'm excited to find Redeemer and revel in the good they will bring to JoCo.

We searched for a good church after sadly being burned somewhere that we realized over time was not…read morepreaching the word of God, living out grace, or loving God and others. We found all of those things here. It is a bigger church, but the love is genuine. The services consistently have worship music done well that uses songs that are scriptural and give God praise. The best though, are the sermons. They continually point to God, his magnificence, the genuine word of God in all its beauty- moments of redirection and how to apply Gods truths to our heart and lives, all while full of His grace, love, and truth. The people love God and strive to love and help others. If you want to learn more about God, love Him more, and find others to live in fellowship with going in that same direction with grace....you can't go wrong visiting Redeemer, here or in Midtown.

You want big and thoughtful? If so, seems like Village PC may be the place for you. I have not…read moreworshiped there, but have met four of the pastors and when they are swinging that much talent in one place, it has to be good. Tom Are is a solid person that happens to be a pastor. Pastors Jarrett, Meg and Matt are also great folks who take seriously the call to engage in one's faith journey with hearts and minds. Keep in mind, this is a big big church, so if you are looking for a small community, this may not be it. But . . . if you want some good program, great pastoral staff and a larger church setting, this may very well be the church for you! DISCLAIMER: Yes, I give every church FIVE STARS not because every church is superfantablous, but every church that I will review can certainly be a FIVER to someone. I will never review a church that I would not be willing to try myself if I were looking. No need to bad mouth freaky-scary churches because they are uh, well, freaky and scary.

Worship in the sanctuary was excellent. The Keynote in the Fellowship Hall was well attended, and the breakout workshop rooms all had adequate space. Village, being a BIG church (some would say a church it's size is a micro denomination onto its self) has a chef on staff. The chef and kitchen staff fed our group well and the quality of food was excellent. I go to a lot of events at Village and they are engaged in the larger community as well as the life of Heartland Presbytery. The Grief Support Network holds it's monthly meetings and it's annual conference at Village. Village provides a relaxed environment (and good coffee that is always ready) and the tech facilities that are needed for small conferences and events. This is a church that I look to to provide for me spiritual support as a pastor that helps me do my ministry with my congregation in the community. Their Village University has brought in speakers like Marcus Borg and Tony Campolo. I am glad that Village's ministry touches it's members and the Presbytery and the larger community.
