I was going to wait until the job was completed but I just can't help myself, I am so impressed by Service Master. My husband and I came home to some wet carpet, mushrooms, and mildew growing in our carpet. I called our insurance followed by a call to a restoration company the following morning. I was told I would get a call back to schedule a time for this other company to come out to evaluate. I still haven't heard from them 24 hours later. I called Service Master and they came out a little over an hour after I called. Josh was awesome! I am pregnant, have two young kids, and a husband with asthma so I was really concerned how this leak would impact their health. I hadn't had my carpets cleaned in several years and with two dogs in and out of the house, they were in need of some TLC. We have had Servicemaster of Magic Valley clean our carpets in the past and they always have done an excellent job! This past weekend we came home to find the basement several inches deep in water. We called Servicemaster and they were there in about 20 minutes and had the water drained out of the basement in about an hour! It now has been less than a week and the basement is dry and being put back together. We have used Servicemaster for a flooded basement, carpet cleaning, replacement of carpet due to damage from animals, and cleaning furniture. They are excellent to work with and the results have been fabulous! We had to replace carpet that wasn't even 3 years old due to damage and stains from our dogs. They were able to match our old carpet perfectly, provide padding that will help protect our baseboard and the padding was way better than the original! Service Master responded very quickly. My hot water heater failed and flooded the basement rooms. Service Master had men there within 45 minutes. I had a new hot water heater installed within 3 hours. The cleanup and removal/replacement of the carpet and dry walls took a bit longer but I am very pleased with the quality of the work done. read more
