I reached out to a number of artists - many didn't respond and of those that did - some were abrasive and pushy or wanted to charge an arm and a leg for coming early. From the jump, Tony was courteous, attentive, and flexible. He really listened to what I wanted, thought about it, and executed. And even though I changed my palette a bit a few days before the wedding, he was totally flexible. He did a test run with me before the wedding and it was no big deal for him to show up at my place at 5 am (I needed to leave for City Hall at 7:45 am). With very little direction aside from my request for something "natural" and "dewy," EJ brought out a perfect look that enhanced my natural features and stayed on the whole day! My face had started breaking out the day before my wedding, but no one would have known with how flawlessly EJ covered my skin. She did both my makeup and hair beautifully with the utmost care--all while being incredibly efficient (with her and her assistant finishing makeup for the bride, groom, and two others in only about 3 hours--all happy with the end result). Throughout the wedding, EJ was flexible, patient and attentive, moving her equipment between floors of the venue for touch-ups and fixing people's hair/clothing right before the ceremony. When I had my final touch-ups and a quick hair change before the dinner reception, EJ was again incredibly efficient, finishing her updo and the makeup in only 15-20 minutes so that we could maximize the time spent with our guests (and despite her speed, the updo still lasted me the entire night of dancing without any loose hairs).
