After looking at our air conditioning unit realizing that it was 19 years old and had been through…read moreseveral hurricanes and floods, I decided a new unit was needed. Contacted Thermacon and our salesman Lance Leslie came to our home and educated us on different ac systems with no pressure. One side of our home was hot the other side cool but our old builder grade unit was not efficiently doing the job. Lance recommended that our home was not balanced and a separate return was necessary to pull warm air from the hot side of our home. I chose a new unit and agreed to the updates he was recommending. Three days later, first thing in the morning as promised, a crew of three men arrived: Kevin being lead technician, Brent and Sam also assisting. Drop cloths were distributed through our home, work began on the inside and outside. Our new unit outside, was leveled with a new slab and a rock base for our wet environment. All new electrical boxes, breaker and connections were installed. Inside a new drip pan and all connections were replaced with new wires, copper and fittings for the new attic unit. An insulated tent device for attic door was installed to keep hot air in the attic not in our home. These men did not take a break and finished the job by 2:15pm. Our home without AC never had a chance to get warm on a 95 degree day before our new unit was up and running. Kevin, Brent and Sam cleaned all areas and removed all debris, could not tell they were ever there. Lance called to follow up if we were happy. Another technician was scheduled by Thermacon five days later to follow up with quality control of job. Erich, our follow up technician called that morning to let us know he was on his way, showing up well before 9am. Erich checked the entire system , even though is was pouring rain. Then he took the time to explain the system and the new controls to both me and my wife.He did a great job and spent a lot of time with us. All warranty information was explained along with two more seasonal visits that come with unit to make sure it is operating efficiently. This new system and return has made our home comfortable in every part of the house, I am looking forward to saving money on our electric bill, and love how quiet this unit is. No doubt we purchased a quality product but we feel we were treated as family. Excellent professional service was received from the ladies scheduling, to our salesman, and the wonderful technicians that did the job. I researched the Lennox equipment and Thermacon before I ever contacted them and I made and excellent decision on both. Thanks a lot Thermacon we rate our experience as an A+++++++. Regards Robert A. He came back the next day in installed a new drain clean-out plug at the front of the house. He put all of the landscape rocks back over the area where we found the plug.
