There is always something to do or watch at this pub! The staff is so friendly and has become a second family for special events! They serve a variety of drinks and the place is very clean. Anyway The Irish Pub in Wiesbaden is a downstairs joint, a bit grubby but usually boisterous. Almost always some kind of music on offer, if only karaoke. Enough TV's to watch your team on game night. I'd say it's slightly better from music than the James Joyce but maybe not quite as good for sports viewing.

And for value, you get nice sized portions for a resonance price and the service is friendly! I have passed by this establishment frequently over the past couple months and it has either been closed or packed. I haven't figured out what the regular hours are to share but the fact that when it is open, it is full tells me just what I imagined was true, it has a local following. I am a fan of the 'neighborhood dive' and this is a great German equivalent.
