It takes awhile to get appointments for new patients. Had my initial visit with Dr Kevin Woods…read moretoday. He's one of the best doctors I ever had. Explained everything very thorough, to the point so you can understand. He wasn't rushed like other doctors and made you feel absolutely relaxed. His bedside manners are absolutely amazing. I have my follow up test to get done as well as my next visit already scheduled. The ladies at the front desk were professional and booked all your follow up appointments with no issues. I wish other doctors were as good as Dr Kevin Woods. This practice does have an urgent care facility that are in office as well.

We barely got there didn't even sit and they came for him and rushed him inside before I could even say goodbye or ask any questions and when he came out soem45 minutes later it was alone carrying a cup of coffee which he wasn't suppose to even have because of urinary problems. they said it was coffee or tea only and they didn't walk him out or tell us what restrictions or side effects. They said they would call in a couple days with the results. Cardiology never even spoke with me after his cardioversion and we are not taking the results over the phone. This is a very expensive and crucial test they act like it was a routine visit. Mike went to AMCH over the holiday weekend and was starved dehydrated and sent home twice probably by cardiology with patient safety issues which resulted in urinary retention. His insurance Aetna had APPROVED him for the entire holiday weekend so all this stands out. They created problems he didn't have by neglect and when this test result is resolved we are going to St. Peters if needed as people in their waiting room suggested.

I've been in the medical field for 7 years and this practice seems great so far!…read more I had to switch doctors because my old Dr was an hour away and I could NEVER get in to see him with my work schedule, and would no longer fill my Rx without making another appointment. I'm not a doctors type of person. I've had the same primary care for 7 years, although I wasn't thrilled with him, I had no reason to change because I wasn't there enough to care. The thought of changing was not thrilling to me. I saw Nurse Practitioner Ericka Matzen at this practice and she was LOVELY! So were the staff! She was fairly new to the practice, but she made me more comfortable in one visit then my previous doctor had in 7 years. I lost my father last Christmas. It's sometimes very hard to talk about along with my mental health and the staff and Ericka made me feel very relaxed. Had no issues whatsoever with medication reordering, and also had my physical done. Was very thorough with her questions and physical. It wasn't just a look at your ears check lungs and heart and that's it, which is awesome. Overall very lovely and sweet staff, great friendly atmosphere. In my personal and professional opinion do not knock a NP, ever! I know people want to see the "actual doctor" a lot. But NP's are more use to the hands on bedside care that doctors may not focus on so much. After all they were once nurses!!!! I 100% recommend Ericka!
