Beautiful brisk morning air wisking me down the road to try a new spot serving Cronuts, croissant donuts ... ooOooh fAnSay! Newish little strip shopping area I've passed a few times passing through Bedford. Crispy clean shop. Not your chain bakery.. mom and pop. These are fancy, fun pastries. I came for croissant donuts, but all deserve a sample. I'm planning on freezing most, so I also got a box of the croissant donettes. I kinda felt like I'm cheating on my favorite family donut shop by even coming here. But we're a small community H.E.B. Those of us in H, should explore the E and B occassionally to support their community as well. Times are tough. Share the wealth. Okay so were they worth the 16 mpg, premium petrol my beasts guzzles to get here? Indubitably. (I used a $20 word there, I heard Bugs Bunny use it when I was a kid). Yes, the Croissant donut is every bite worth doing a lil cha cha.. 1, 2, 3, turn and 1, 2, 3. Might be worth 4 boots on the ground fan pop ladies. Gents? Nuh uh, stop it with the fans, you're outta bounds. These were more than worth the drive. The owner, super friendly, a bright smile adding a bit more sunshine to my morning. Who can't love life with sunshine, exchanging smiles, and donuts. If you have the blues, I send you my pics of pleasure in the form of strawberry laden sweet treats. Donuts and fresh and oh so tasty and the kolaches are yummmmy as well. This is the only donut spot I have ever seen strawberry frosted donut holes and I am obsessed. Only down side is they do tend to not have many of them (make more please lol) Highly recommend if in need for some tasty donuts and quick service!

Shared an assortment with family, and they did not disappoint. No lingering after taste like other bakeries' donuts - just melt in your mouth goodness. Super friendly and sweet service. My wife is from Chicago and I lived there for 30 years. We've enjoyed Rainbow Cone for a very long time and now that we live in Texas, we're so happy to see them here. I understand they will be expanding in the metroplex as well. Possibly even a Buona Beef / Rainbow Cone combo. We had our small dog with us today, so we used their large outdoor space and sat at one of their round tables, each with a large umbrella for shade. My wife had the Junior Cone and I had the regular size Original Rainbow Cone. We both very much enjoyed them. And our dog got a few licks of my cone too :) Thank you for bringing an amazing "taste of Chicago" to Texas! And we just learned that Seniors (65+) get half-off (except on cake), Monday - Friday, 11 am to 5 pm. Wow - real nice. We'll be back.

I was welcomed in by Ms. Laci, who was as sweet as the donuts and a really nice smile. She helped with my selections of donuts which I settled for an apple fritter and chocolate cream filled donut and cup of coffee. The coffee was brewed fresh and had a good taste, and the apple fritter and chocolate cream donut was very delicious. I'm usually not on this side of town so I couldn't pass the opportunity to stop on in. Please stop on by you won't regret it.
