The reception desk was closed, as expected, due to my late arrival in Nantes. But the self-service screen outside was pretty straight forward and I got the code for my room in a few seconds. The room was compact, clean and functional. The bathroom was in perfect condition and the air conditioning was a relief with the heatwave then in Nantes. All around a good experience. Would recommend if you need to spend just a night in Nantes.

Good hotel located in the main tourist district within minutes of good shops, restaurant etc…read more has underground parking but it's rather challenging getting to it as you have to drive thought mainly pedestrian street with special access give by the hotel. Rooms are comfortable with bath room and toilet being rather small. They do have good buffet breakfast with ample selection

The overnight price was 50 euro, but we were informed on arrival that there might have been a better offer if we had contacted the hotel directly rather than going through a general hotels site. It's right opposite the train station but also only a short walk from the Chateau. The staff were excellent. We encountered two of them - they both had excellent English and told us all sorts of interesting stuff about the area and gave great recommendations for our stay. The hotel and rooms area good basic standard. Short on frills but everything you need for a good night's sleep. The beds were super comfortable. On a whim we decided to go for the 8 euro breakfast. I've come to expect the overpriced breakfast from French hotels - its basically bread and pastries, but we were glad of it, it was all really fresh and there was plenty of it. Overall it was a good choice for us.

Staff dog friendly and our room was huge with a great shower and beautiful views. One resident not so happy we had a dog in tow BUT seemed to not be aware in was a pet friendly hotel.even though they were French. We would go back in a heartbeat as the location was just gorgeous. Lots of lovely restaurants along the quay to eat at and some stunning walks. Great price for the stay and the breakfast was very generous and a great selection. Under cover secure parking also an added extra bonus but is quite a walk away if you are blue badge holders like me this was a struggle with a bag so drive the car as far as you can down to the hotel and unpack there first is my advice and also be aware no lift and lots of stairs - even to get to the reception at the entrance. All in all a real gem. Thoroughly recommend! X

The staff were friendly, helpful and very accommodating. They made dinner reservations for us and helped with any directions or information we needed for our stay in Nantes. The location can't be beat. So close to all the sites, shopping and great restaurants. Being on the edge of the pedestrian zone makes it challenging to get there by car. Call ahead and they will give you a code to enter the area plus directions to the lot right behind their hotel. Once the car is safely parked, everything else can be reached easily on foot and it is a pleasure to explore the city from the hotel's location. The room itself was quite comfortable and had amazing air conditioning considering how in France that is not always the case. The bed was so comfortable I never wanted to get out of it! Breakfast was wonderful. The typical French breakfast you know and love. I did find a new favorite thing at breakfast which is a local specialty called Le Gateau Nantes. It is the most deliciously moist and decadent rum cake that went great with a strong cup of coffee. I loved the cake so much I ended up buying one on the way out of town to enjoy down the road. I look forward to my next visit to Nantes and know exactly where I will be staying.
