Then I told her that the bigger two washers were not spinning between cycles and not really agitating either and she walked away from from me saying the owner was around. So I called the owner and this guy showed up. Not the owner, posing as the"owner " I told him and he said of course there is less time they're smaller washers. Apparently he couldn't comprehend that I was talking about two identical washers. Then he accused me of overloading the washers that weren't spinning. I have worked in a commercial laundry twice. I Know that it is impossible to fill up a washer so much that it doesn't spin between cycles or agitate. Then he told me that it is my fault if my clothes weren't clean. This is after the $1 increase per washer load, no matter what size washer! By the way the dryer time and temps have been adjusted too. I made the comment that the washers are 30 years old and he said how would you know were you here 30 years ago and I said yes. My advice pray the mancelona laundry opens up sooner than later!

He then recommended I do a "get to know your machine" with Riley. She spent well over an hour explaining all the things that I needed to know and was SO helpful. They never charged me for any of this! Keep in mind the machine was purchased years before, so it's not like they were doing it to make a sale. It is what I would call throwback service and I would highly recommend this place.

We were attending a quilt retreat in Traverse City. Two of the quilters experienced issues with a…read moresewing machine and a bobbin. The Staff were able to fix the bobbin and saved my friend from having to purchase a new one. Another quilter's machine was acting up. The staff was friendly and helpful and tried to solve the issue over the phone. We ended up driving to the store. The employee was able to adjust her machine and she was able to keep sewing for the rest of the retreat. I am sorry I did not get the names of the two very helpful people. I was very impressed by the great servce my friends received.
