Found Randy's name and number on NextDoor with positive comments, so I reached out and am so happy I did! Randy came to my home the next day to pickup my mower and perform the necessary work. He went above and beyond what was asked for maintenance (even sharpened the blades) plus found the cause of the squeaking and resolved that issue. Randy brought my mower back 5 days later and the cost was beyond reasonable for the work performed. I definitely recommend Randy and will absolutely contact him in the future.

It always seems like they will rip you off. I felt the same way after dropping it off and driving away. The lady at the front desk really doesn't listen to you and talks over you. She said there is a $40 service fee due up front and said she would call if there was anything major to be done. All I had was a $50 bill, and she asked if I wanted to leave the whole $50 down without getting $10 change back. I said yes of course. Driving away I already felt uncomfortable vibes about having my lawnmower fixed at this business and figured it was going to cost me at least $50. Two day later, I retuned to pick up the lawnmower. I was charged another $40 on top of the $50 deposit. The employee showed me how to start my lawnmower. Apparently I was not starting it properly to begin with. The machine was working fine all along and nothing was wrong with it at all. They made it seem like it was broken to begin with. They sharpened the blade without even asking me for this service.

Stotz Equipment, in Las Vegas, mis-diagnosed my Honda 7000 iu generator a couple years back. They…read moresubmitted a false diagnostic claim to Honda, about $ 600-700 dollar. Their tech failed to do his due diligence before he replaced a fuel injector. I picked this generator up and it was stalling in the middle of the night. I called a dealership in Arilington, TX, he said bring it in. So when I arrived service manager asked me to start it. He listened and said don't like they way it sounds." So he told his tech to pull out my spark arrestor and it was caked with about 1/2 inch of soot! it had never been cleaned in 9000 hours of operation! I called Stotz Equipment, Corporate office in Avondale, AZ. I spoke with the Service Director over 25 Service Managers her name was Ms. Julie Jackson. Another 1,500 hours and this same generator needed a new throttle body and fuel pump. I called her again and she did absolutely nothing for me! Now yesterday i go into their [Stotz] location in Cortez, CO, to order a $ 4,500.00 John Deere, diesel generator. I called Julie Jackson, at Stotz Corporate office and left a professional message. This morning she didn't call me she alerted her store in Cortez, to "cancel my generator order because I am not in good standing with Stotz." Don't ever do business with Stotz Equipment! They are total ASSWIPES!
