Coming from San Diego, i kind of know something about sushi, this place is amazingly cool, well made. but when it came to there Sake even do they have so much of it in brands they sure don't know much about what there selling. Nigiri was passable at most! rice was stiff and fish ok. but other items we order although very creative, they really did not taste up there with places like. in fact most things cost so much it was almost double the price then at Nobu!! and these guys are even Famous Actors! i'm just paying at this moment for the bad service which was at most forgetful, intentionally or unintentionally!! people running everywhere like every order was for the Queen of England! drinks were fine, but we ordered Beer and Cold SAKE.. so how badly can you screw this up. and for a grand total of 300 dlls.. i could of gone to any more tradicional place in San Diego or Vegas and had a more enjoyable food experience.. but not maybe such a cool rockstar fashion o no that would be Nobu in Hard Rock Hotel! read more

Rarely do I ever review a restaurant, merely because I don't feel it is correct to give mediocre to bad reviews. In order to set the stage, I am the kind of person who notices the difference in taste, sweetness and bitterness in M&Ms, due to their colorant. It has been an explosion of flavors, from the perfectly cooked and seasoned calamari, to hand rolls that have just the right amount of chili, crunchy weed and fresh tuna or salmon. Dessert was a hit, the almond sponge cake with vanilla ice cream, coconut milk and lychee was a superb combination of sweet, acid cloudy heaven. I will most definitely be back. read more

I have travelled to many places and had sushi...none as fresh and as tasty as this restaurant. From the fried rice, to the various sushi dishes, to the meats and tempura it is impossible to fault. The service is efficient. It's a young trendy place and quite noisy but that wouldn't deter me returning again and again. Top Marks from me! read more

Came to Monterrey for a short trip and was craving some sushi. This place was recommended so I gave it a try. Located in the San Pedro area. It was a little hard to find since it is nestled in the corner of a plaza. The decor is very nice and modern. The prices are just like U.S. prices. They mainly serve seafood dishes and sushi. I didn't see any bento boxes or beef teriyaki entrees. Also majority of the sushi rolls had cream cheese in it but everything was delicious. Drinks weak and service not on par with others. Server forgot my drink and when it came no alcohol. I ordered the specialty Nighttrain and Barry White. Both were just fruit juice. Had a sake and a whiskey and topped off with a Cosmo, specifically asking for it to be strong. Not even a slight buzz. Food is very small portions with a high price. The food was good but nothing out of the ordinary. Not worth it. First place I ever left after spending. 150 USD and still hungry and sober. Go to the other places. Double B way better service and bang for the buck. read more

The food is mediocre at best. Nothing special. The service is very slow borderlining incompetent. Definitely NOT a place for business (they also always have issues with "sistema" for official invoices--facturas-- and also with credit cards). It's a struggling venue with poor management that pretends to be fancier than it is. Unimpressive. read more
