Thankfully, I don't have any major injuries that made a chiropractic visit urgent, but I do like to go in for a tune-up periodically. I've been seeing Dr. Wong for years now, and he's been an absolute life-saver! He has a very calming voice, making it very easy to relax my body. He's great about mentally preparing me with each step of his adjustment by clearly communicating them ahead of time. I lift heavy weights in the gym and work a desk job, so my neck and shoulders are always super tight and making alarming cracking noises when I rotate my head/ neck. Dr. Stan has been my chiropractor for about 2 years now. He understands what your body needs to adjust after doing his initial assessment with you. As an athlete and trainer, my body goes through a lot and he's been great to help with my recovery. He also told me that adjustments can improve athletic performance and he was right! After a few adjustments, my movements in lifting and fighting have improved. Lifting didn't feel lopsided and moving while fighting didn't feel stiff. This review for Dr. Wong is long overdue. I contacted Dr. Wong through Instagram after seeing he does house calls. With my busy schedule, this was what I needed. I've seen multiple chiropractors over the years in my area and the first couple of visits are great, but service and care became non-existent after that. Dr. Wong came to my home and took the time to explain his philosophy about chiropractic care. He also explained exactly what adjustment he was making and why he was doing it. After the adjustments, Dr. Wong gave me exercises and stretches to do to help me from getting injured again. Another thing about Dr. Wong is that he will not sell you on future adjustments or a treatment plan like every other chiropractor does.
