They always look for the quick fix and quick buck without fixing the actual issue. Brought my truck in for issues with the transmission, instead of actual seeing what was going on they just reset the TCM and charged me 400.00. Twenty minutes later down the road it went into limp mode again. They said to bring it back and they would have to charge me all over again for the job they said was completed. This is without a doubt the worst mechanic I have ever had. They were rude and disrespectful. I went to them because of transmission problems, and they told me that I needed a new transmission. I agreed for them to replace it and agreed on a cost. They were rude and disrespectful from the start. They attempt to give the impression that they have a respect for the military and have the honesty and integrity people assume the military has. When I called to arrange to pick up car, they let me know that the radiator was leaking and asked for more than $500 to replace it. I let them know that I was not able to pay for that and that I would pick up the car as planned. When I arrived they told me that I could not drive the car and would either have to let them fix it or have it towed. To be clear- my radiator was FINE before I dropped it off. They took ZERO responsibility and offered to possibly replace it if I bought the part. I declined and took my car to another shop who replaced the radiator for less than half of what Sgt Clutch stayed. They also sent me a picture of hole that had been punched in my radiator. I would never ever recommend Sgt Clutch to anyone. DO NOT GO TO SGT CLUTCH FOR REPAIRS IF YOU WANT AN HONEST DEPENDABLE JOB. read more
