The dressing was so wonderfully savory with flavors that blended beautifully with the moist chicken breast with a hint of crunch from the bit of perfect crispy skin on top. Delish! My wife had some trout that was smoked and chopped with a bit of onion and spices. Also wonderful. First off the decor is so inviting and cosy and reminiscent of an old gentleman's club or smoking room with large leather seats and dark wood tables. There is an impressive bar and the space is laid out well so that it is ideal for groups and parties as well as intimate dinners for two. But enough about that, lets talk about the food and menu. For me it is one of my favourite menus in Dublin. Good hearty meals and traditional flavours and styles with modern interesting twists like Chicken Lemon and Thyme, Braised Pork Belly and Grilled Goats Cheese, three of my favourites on the menu! As side dished the sweet potato puree and roasted veg are excellent! It is not the cheapest place to eat in the area but it is one of the nicest! Enjoy!
