Complete con artists here. I purchased a 3-time hair removal package which did not work at all. ( The original person who worked on me told me I was a perfect candidate for this and should get great results) The last time, the nurse told me that it would not work and that I should talk to them and I should instead go for electrolysis. I said that would be ok...but she, added, we don't do that here so maybe you can get your money back. When I called the head office woman there, she very pompously informed me informed me that I would need at least 6-8 sessions before it would show and I WAS MISINFORMED!!!!! I said that isn't what the nurse told me. She replied, "That is why we fired her, because she is misinformed." This was my first visit to Dr. Javaheri and I was impressed! The office itself is very comfortable, making use of colors that are relaxing rather then the bright white or urine yellow some medical offices seem to prefer. I was warmly greeted when I entered the office. Because of that welcome I assumed the receptionist didn't remember I was using a Groupon. Well she did and it didn't matter. Often businesses seem to look on folks with discount promotions as an inconvenient pain taking advantage of an over stock situation. Definitely not the case here. My whole experience was first class. From the receptionist to the doctor to paying the bill, it was all friendly, courteous, and as if I had gone through a time warp when the customer was truly number one! I can't say enough about his front desk staff. It was my first time there and they were so kind, efficient, polite, everything you would want for your first impression when you walk into a new place. But then there is Dr. J, wow. I was blown away by his manner, knowledge, skills and kindness. He didn't try to oversell me anything like so many other people seem to do. Got a deal on Groupon for a photofacial. I've gotten this facial done 3 times in the past and loved the results every single time. My dark spots were significantly lighter if not gone. I went to Dr Javaheri's office as the dark spots were coming back (typical). After the session I didn't see the usual coffee grounds (dark spots coming to the surface) like I did before. I thought maybe it was a different machine. After a couple weeks I saw NO results. I thought maybe it was because the setting was too low. So I contacted them and they offered to do a complimentary session. I'm sad to say after the second session nothing has changed. The dark spot actually appears to be darker! I really wanted to like them since they were nice to offer the complimentary second session but I just don't think their machines are as effective. It's been more than a month now and the spot is still darker than it was. Nothing faded! read more

This was my first visit to Dr. Javaheri's Office, however, it will not be my last. The office is staffed by true professionals - I had to change my appointment several times and the scheduling staff was accommodating and delightful to speak with. Jamra, the Nurse who administered by IPL facial took the time to explain everything that was going to happen during this Facial to me in DETAIL before she started. She took her time to ensure she covered every inch of my entire face. When finished she let me know what to expect to see on my face in the next several weeks and how to best care for my skin after the IPL. The office also has this instructions printed for their patients to take with them. Dr. Shahin Javaheri is wonderful! He corrected an unsightly ear piercing scar on my teen daughter. She had had her ears pierced at a mall store, and unfortunately one of the piercings got infected and had to be allowed to close up. When it healed it created a long scar that she didn't want to carry through life. Dr. Javaheri said he could minimize it and he did. He was great with my daughter, keeping her calm, asking her questions about herself to keep her engaged, and explaining everything that he was doing. 5 stars! read more

If I could give more than 5 stars I would! I went to Dr. Javaheri because I was fed up with the long wait at my previous doctor's office. It was an absolute pleasure to discover on all three of my visits that the "wait" at Dr. Javaheri's was as long as it took for me to check in. We're talking a max of two minutes. He and his staff are delightful, down-to-earth people. It's obvious that they take pride in their work, and they make sure their clients feel special. Okay, I realize that sounds a bit cheesy, but it's true! The way they greeted me and how well they accommodated me made me feel like I was their only client. In addition to following up with me after my treatment and assuring me to come in if I wasn't completely satisfied, they fit me in immediately when I felt like I could use a little touch up. He did a terrible job on my 7year old daughte, which was followed by severe infection, and he made us ta pack and unpack the site of her surgery for 5 months. finally another ENT did the correct surgery. Never once Dr javaheri accepted his shortcomings, or showed any compassion whatsoever. HE himself, his office manager, and his staff all are very cold and unprofessional. Run away from this guy. Fast. Incompetent,unorganized, liar, nervous wreck. Does not know his limits as to what he can do or not. Horrible experience with my liposuction surgery, close to zero prep for surgery.Cut the preop appointment short to run home to babysit so his wife can go to her ladies night out. Day of surgery, he remembered that he had not asked for a blood test. Made me run to the lab at 6:30 in the morning with anesthesiologist and nurse waiting to get my blood drawn and then he told the lab technician multiple times that there is no need to wait for the results since this is just a formality. Surgery was done in less than 3 hours. Others need at least 6-8 hours for the same job. woke up to see doctor is gone with minimal instructions. also he had left half of my thighs undone. Just a quick note to say that the garment size was wrong, released me in an unstable condition, removed sutures 5 weeks later instead of 5 days later and even then left 5 out of 10 sutures behind, Has not the decency to say what he has done wrong( everything). I had to go through a correction surgery( by someone else of course,)to fix the mess he had left behind. That surgery took about 8 hours. I am not even getting into the details about the lies and rude behavior and so much more. Stay away. read more

However, after my surgery and the swelling went down, I was in shock! Nothing I had requested (and paid for) had been done. When I asked him about it, he said he thought it best to do something else. I had a big misfortune with this place having had bought a groupon for IPL. By the way I didn't see even a shadow of Dr.Javaheri, it is done now by a nurse and the office is managed by an robot-like woman, Julie, who produces only prepared phrases, which she can repeat endlessly. And they are a rip-off, and I've also got a feeling of kind'a "bad energy" in the unit. But I haven't even get a treatment. Actually I am glad that I escaped, although not sure even if I can return it to Groupon and it is $151, big money with my current income. First of all, it wasn't possible to make an appointment by phone - they returned my call once (I wasn't available) and then stopped. I had to drive 45 min to their office. During that week of calls I've found out that their explanation written on the site for IPL is not quite right and I realized that I needed a non-surgical facelift, which groupon had also available. But wasn't able to talk to them and change it officially in time. My suggestion to change it on-site to facelift, when I would come on the day of appointment was, after 15 min discussion with that mechanical front desk, finally accepted with additional difference of $15, which was strange, since the groupon prices were the same. However when I came for an appointment, this price jumped to $80, since they now decided that can only give me their "special" price of 240 and not any of still existing groupon deals. I was also promised a consultationbefore, which should have been the first thing in any of our discussions, but things didn't get to that. The nurse appeared and after 5 min of my logical explanations made me thinking that she agrees to do a facelift treatment to me since I had no signs on my face really in need of IPL. What happened next I can't even understand, she tricks me to follow her and then started yelling that I can't go while she is still busy. All that was too much and I left. I don't recommend this place and sure that most of positive posts here are fake. See those with 1-2 stars! Bad quality! read more

I had my first consultation and treatment with Dr Javaheri and was beyond pleased. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and took his time with me explaining the treatment procedure. What impressed me most is he was interested in fully understanding what was important to me (a natural look) and gave me several options to consider.
