Burgers are always fresh and made to order. As are the fries. I usually order online and it's really quick within about 15 min ur order would be ready. It's right on the corner of grove and Columbus. Perfect location right off the PATH train. Inside is nice a lot of seating pretty clean when I was there. One of my favorite burger spots in town. read more

I've been dying to try this burger joint for awhile now. The wait time was standard for a fast food restaurant. Just about 5-7 minutes or so. The staff was friendly and cordial . The seating area was wide and spacious but fairly standard and nothing that stood out but it's fast food so not meant for you to stay and play . The burger I chose was the shake shack burger with the cheese fries. Both cooked to perfection. The amazing part of both was that cheese sauce. I have no clue what it is but man I want to buy a bottle of it. The price was far more than I anticipated seeing as it was a one patty burger . Total for burger, drink and fries was about $20. yikes If you're in the area and need a decent burger and fries combo with a drink and you just so happen to not care about cost this is the spot for you. read more

I recently experienced food poisoning after finishing the shack burger. The diarrhea started within 15 minutes. It appears that the patties were not ordered to be made but were instead cooked in batches. When I picked up the food, only three people were dining in. It's the second time I got food poisoning from this store. Definitely something wrong with this store. read more

always a solid choice, and this location really stands out. ordering is super easy thanks to the self-service kiosks, which are really convenient. I always thought the burgers were solid, never really had an issue with consistency lol. The staff here is also friendly, and one thing I really appreciate is that they bring your order right to your table instead of calling your name to pick it up. it's right next to the PATH train station, so grabbing a bite before or after your commute is incredibly convenient. read more

Premium price mediocre food. Staff looks tired, depressed & like they hate their job. I have had shake shacks chicken sandwich a few times, expensive but worth it as it used to be delicious with a nice panko/ crust/ crunch but not this time around. Chicken Shack was no better than a Wendy's chicken sandwich at twice the price which equals a scam. I also got a beef patty instead of eggplant, with shroom. was pissed because I don't eat red meat, gave to my Motherinlaw. Overall a crappy outside food experience on one of the best weekend in the past few weeks. absolutely no reason or motivation to buy food here again. read more

I love Shake Shack and am happy that they opened one near me! I got their bacon cheese fries, shroom burger, tiramisu shake and orange dreamsicle. Bacon cheese fries - SO good! Melty cheese and crispy bacon bits slathered on top of crunchy crinkle cut fries. Yum! Shroom burger - the mushroom patty had a great crunch! Also really good. Tiramisu shake - I was excited to try this one but surprisingly this one is a little too sweet and heavy for me. I was hoping for more bitter, coffee flavors to balance out the sweetness but the sweet cream overpowered other ingredients. I liked the piece of Ladyfinger that came with it though. Orange dreamsicle - This one is more balanced (sweet-sour) of the two shakes. Not bad! read more

I have not made any reviews of Shake Shacks lately. This will be my 2nd time eating at one of these places. Me and my girl came here for lunch one day, and we all wanted burgers and fries. She does not eat hamburgers unless they have Kosher meats. So, we ordered her of what you would call Animal Style Fries with Cheese and onions, and french fries. It's a known name for our California burger joints of In and Out. Anyhow, we had fun eating and enjoying our time here. Service was good, and people were nice. I was happy. read more

Today I placed an order for that was or 10 piece chicKen nuggets and order of fries and a drink that I had to delete due to no ice today. I was there with a group of 14 I then opened the box which to me revealed a skimpy looking order and realized they could not compete with other fast food restaurants. Ordered shack burger and 6pc chicken bites, was disappointed at first with the burger having only a little piece of lettuce. I'm a shake shack lover so I know this is not something normal. But I got more disappointed to see one of the chicken bites was a poorly looking tiny strip of maybe chicken and breading. I know I had to go back and complain. I went to see the manager and complained. I told him not to serve customers a piece like that. He told me not to lecture him about his job. i argued that that's not right. Though he made the mistake right by giving me a refund, coz I was asked what I wanted to happen, he offered I can keep the food, which I did because I didn't want it to waste, offered to replace the food, I just feel that he didn't seen apologetic enough about what happened. Yes, you can offer all those stuff but if you say it with attitude just to shut you out, I didn't feel that was a sincere gesture. For this, I don't think I will return to this location again. read more
