They "tell it like it is", without fail. The law is their world but they humanize it so it is not so confusing. QTMG also makes sure you understand that patience is necessary as they have to deal with other companies and agencies that don't always have the attributes they have. They keep on top of things and will answer anything you may need to know. And that's almost instantly. They have insights to how you should proceed, giving you viable options, and sound advice. Above that, there is something in these people that you rarely find anywhere. In any business. They do what they are supposed to, and then go the extra mile. And what you find is kindness. Yes, kindness. Where do you see that anywhere these days? They actually care. And they completely understand human emotion in the face of sometimes horrible and tragic circumstances. I finally had enough when on at least 2 separate occasions she went behind my back, and did exactly what I told her not to do. She completely refused to follow my instructions, then had her junior lawyer tell me what she was doing. My last invoice was off by over $300, she blamed the accounting glitch in their software. That doesn't make any sense based on the error that was made. She is a complete coward, and hides behind excuses, and her junior lawyer. These are the actions of a partner? I paid her thousands of dollars this year alone, and she was completely incapable of advancing the file.

Turned down a settlement offer from defendants hoping that she would actually fight for my case. Turned out I was incorrect. This comes from a facebook thread of where I repeatedly asked for credentials to prove her licensing and an explanation as to why she was using an alias while replying with her biased opinions over a foreign legal matter. My suggestion would be to flee this counselor with haste if you want a proper representation in the legal system. Claudia Ximena Bordes and her comments on how she views her clients and their creepy nature: "Wow. This is pretty intense. For the record, most of the lawyers I know (family bar, Ottawa) don't use their regular names on Facebook; it would be way too easy for our clients to track us down and start creeping us." The Facebook name that this was under is Jim Bordes. Steer clear of this attorney. She is clearly violating the very Rules of Professional Conduct regarding ethics and should be reviewed by the Law Society of Ottawa. .
