I came here for a company Christmas party. We were served with food platters that were actually…read morereally good. The food was all paid for so I can't really give an opinion about the value for money in relation to the food quality. The bar staff was courteous and service was better in comparison to similar places that I have been to. I was really impressed with the quality of their food platters especially the seafood platter. I would give the place 4 stars but they didn't provide us with silverware or small plates to help us eat. Napkins alone (serviettes as they call it in Australia) just didn't cut it.

Anyway, I decided to come back here again, even if just to refamiliarize myself with this pub, and it turned out that it was great. It certainly does try to appeal to a wide range of people, namely because of the selection of beers that are available on tap. In fact, this pub is actually pretty cool, with some really friendly staff, and of course they also have a lovely verandah area which gives you the option of some people watching as well. Except for me, who was driving them home. Even so, the atmosphere is fun and the food is pretty good too.

I haven't been to a wedding here but judging by the food and flexibility of the staff at a couple of parties I've attended, it would be a good choice of venue. And then there's the sacred grass, highly valued by club members, who yearn to hit their balls around whenever possible, it seems; this, at least, is my partner's view. Not much of a player myself, I know only that it is a very picturesque course, with lovely water features inhabited by fish and turtles and it's great for a pleasant stroll on a sunny day. Guests can get a game for around $40 but this is subject to availability and the course is often busy with members only events.
