The boba tastes pretty good and warrants a 4 or 5 star, but we waited 20 - 25 minutes for it. We had a class at 1, we ordered at about 12:40 and were late to class (it's a 1 minute drive from there). Worst part is people with order numbers after us getting *The Same Drink* got it before us because they made a bulk order I suppose. The shift lead messed up my drink order. When I came back to complain, I brought back the messed up drink to show the shift lead. I asked them to fix it. I also asked for an extra stamp on my loyalty card to compensate me for the inconvenience. The shift lead was indignant and wouldn't give me an extra stamp or any other offering for their mistake and my inconvenience. Apparently, the franchise owner has never heard of "on the house" customer service. This is a poorly run business. Poor quality control. Poor customer service (a woman in line ahead of me also complained that they had messed up her drink order last time). There are better boba tea shops in Arcadia and Monrovia. Stay away. read more

Came here today for the first time and bought 7 drinks. 1 oolong milk tea that tasted ordinary 3 "Smirfs" drink- owner recommended it and was like you'll love it trust me so I went with his suggestion. everyone that I gave it to didn't like it. First time here. Came around 9:55 pm Saturday and this place is hopping!!! Every parking spot taken. Ended up parking on street. Ordered classic milk teas ..green and black. Excellent friendly dpeedy service. Guy who took my border seemed very genuine and appeared to value my business...making it a point to be sure I liked the teas. If not, he would remake. No need. After eating hotpot next door of course I wanted milk tea. I've never been to Sharetea but I will return, especially since I work nearby. I had the regular black milk tea with boba with 50% sugar. It was the perfect sweetness that is hard to get other places to achieve, they either make it to sweet or to bitter. They only do drinks here so eat somewhere else first, I recommend the hot pot place next door. They also have happy hour, buy 1 drink, get the other 50% off mon-fri 11:00am-2:00pm and 4:00pm to 7:00pm. read more

I'll give this one 5 stars because I'm finicky with what I want sometimes; however they have a "family milk tea" that includes every topping that they have for one low price with their house milk tea. It was perfect! I didn't have to make a decision about what to put in it, and the milk tea was bomb. I did omit the red bean and lychee option but that's because I'm not a fan of it in my milk teas. Not good, first they couldn't make any drinks not on the menu. 2nd, I asked for half sugar and it was way too over sweet it tasted sweeter than regular drinks at other tea places. I've been searching for mini bobas and I was so glad they have it here) Came here on Friday afternoon and it was pretty crowded, but my drink came out pretty quick despite the long line. Honestly, I don't visit Sharetea often, but sometimes it's just perfect timing when we're looking for milk tea. Visiting SoCal for a wedding and had a boba fix on the way. Coming from the Bay. There's so many boba shops it's just hard to visit the chains for some good quality tea and boba. Kelly, the cashier, told me they were the best Sharetea out there, and they were right. I look out for one drink I've grown to love, Okinawa ice blended with boba (introduced to me by an amazing friend). Perfect for the summer because it becomes milk tea if I take too long to drink it. Only place on the bay area that has Okinawa Ice Blended in their menu is the Santa Clara Sharetea. Other Shareteas were unwilling to try making it, but this one in Arcadia outperformed. Great service, recommendations, and manager on duty. Glad to have come the time I did, especially during happy hour (bogo 1/2). I will come visit again if I'm ever in the area. read more

WORST SERVICE EVER!!! Walked to the line that states UberEats pick up. On the app, it states order is ready. I am picking up for Parents whom we don't want to jeopardize their health during this Covid-19 Pandemic. I wait in the pick up line no one else waiting. There's two guys behind the counter making drinks and he clearly sees me because they are organizing stuff like getting straws from their ginormous stack in the corner near where they make drinks. I literally had to tell him I was there to pick up drinks when it's clearly a pick up line for drinks. When ask for the order, I informed the male worker of what I ordered exactly and that all 4 drinks in our order had aloe. He then proceeds and states I need to show him my phone which again I told him, they are at home to not risk their health. I then ask do you want me to risk their health just so they can pick up their drinks. He kept saying he understands, but yet doesn't give me the drinks. So clearly he doesn't understand and insisted I have my parents provide screen shots. I then got the screen shots but only provided him the Order Number and repeated my exact order FIRMLY, which he finally starts to pack my order. With no apologies, he then states that there are a lot of drinks he's making. To be exact, he had 12 drinks in three separate stacks clearly for 3 orders and said you can see we have a lot of drinks we have. This is my go to Sharetea or the one in Old Town Monrovia. This is also the location where the Owner babysits and sits in the customer chairs. Probably now, I understand why because of their lack of efficiency. People like this shouldn't work in a service industry creating bad service in an already struggling situation. These are times they should embrace that we are supporting our local businesses! Needless to say, I will not return to Sharetea, with so many other options that are also at a better price point. Just to give you an idea, their Happy Hour Buy 1 get 1 half off, is still more than if you bought 2 regular priced drinks and the same type of Boba Shop in the area. read more

Just ordered 8 Milk Teas. This has been our go-to Boba shop whenever we crave for boba. Manager is so nice and welcoming. Cafe Creama is now my favorite next to Hokaiddo. QQ is what everyone else got which is also great but i like to be different. They also have a Buy get one 50% off on weekdays from 11-2pm and 4-7pm. Great taste with great service! We ask for no ice because it's cold weather and they keep it full unlike others "no ice, less/not full cup." Will definitely keep coming back and you know it's us whenever we buy 4-8 drinks 2-3times a week! read more

I like the students working here, the boba is usually good (sometimes undercooked), and the music is okay albeit very loud and sometimes inappropriate for kids. The discount isn't a discount at all, especially with the 5% credit card charge for orders less than $10. You're paying the same price as other boba shops for 2 drinks; you could get more toppings at other places for the same price. I could forgive some of these. I was going to update with 3 stars because I gave this place a few more chances. However, I am done with the owner's bad attitude. He responded to my old edit from several months ago about him screaming at his young employees with: "The students know what we're about. No sugarcoating. Stay in your lane." I'm a customer and I'm writing an honest review of what I saw--a severe lack of the basic etiquette that was missed during Business 101. I AM in my lane. You don't start this pettiness on Yelp (of all places) with customers (of all people). Nothing's changed. The employees are good people (especially the girls) so the 1-star is for them and nothing else. I can't give anymore money knowing the owner is this immature; he'll probably start his banshee screeching again during the summer/holidays. When it was finally my turn to order, that's when girl cashier decided to make me wait around. She has no interest in taking my order, so I decided it was not worth a wait. I stopped by this location for some boba with my brother. Due to COVID, they taped instructions on the floor for standing and waiting. It was unclear because the arrows were off. Our cashier was Taylor and his attitude seems extremely obnoxious when asked what we wanted to order. Prior, there was a lady arguing about her drink mistakes and so I think he got a bit angry which isn't a valid excuse to act rude toward the next customer. My brother order a taro pearl milk tea with mini boba and I ordered a mango green milk tea with mini boba. He asked if the order was correct and I said yes. After, he proceeded to make changes to my order and therefore messed it up. As I stood outside, I didn't pay attention to my receipt so I got a "mango green tea" without milk. I was a bit upset but didn't want to make a big deal about it since he wasn't happy already. Overall, please treat your customers in a professional manner even though you're having a bad day and please make sure orders are correct. The San Gabriel location is an older location compared to Arcadia which opened in early 2018. However, that didn't matter to me as I was buying my drinks to go so didn't plan on staying long. I came in to purchase 4 drink specials that I received an email coupon for. I definitely recommend that you sign up your email as you start receiving coupons for drinks at a discounted price. When the worker there first rang me up, she didn't realize that my coupon was applicable for 4 drinks, not one. After I reminded her of her mistake, she promptly made the correction to the total price. Thereafter, it took awhile to get my 4 drinks. They only had 2 workers and not that many customers but it still took more than 10 minutes for my drinks to be ready. Despite this, my drinks were pretty tasty so with that said, I think I would definitely return to this store again! read more
