For some reason or another, Sharp Collections has been trying to collect on a debt on Earned Income and Per Capita taxes for the City of New Castle, PA for every year from 2004 to 2021. Why is this place sending letter out for request of back taxes from 2008 on a job that clearly was in Lawrence county. Burger King. Maybe that's why they closed up shop and left. They didn't pay there taxes, so this company is going after the independent worker and trying to get it from them. WOW!! Really!!! read more

So I tried paying this random CAPITA taxes I got sent even tho only me and my girlfriend got it but nobody else in the house got it, and it only took 47 and didn't take the extra 1.88 because I had to transfer 88 cents and now it's trying to make me pay the full amount still and won't let me pay the fee $1.88 and won't give me my money back either. 10/7: Literally trying to pay a bill (half now and the other half on Friday), and the office (Linda) is refusing to take two payments per Donna because other people promised to make a 2nd payment and never followed through on it. This makes ZERO sense and is poor unethical business practices. Ever since moving to Beaver County I have had nothing but issues with the utility companies because of the outdated systems, poor communication, and people sitting in positions well past their expiration dates. Horrible experience!! So let's just shut the water off and force me to go all weekend w/o water and put on a schedule for when a technician can come out to turn it back on, and pay a reconnection fee as opposed to taking two payments. Great job Beaver County and thank you for being so UN...ethical/empathetic/compassionate to the people/towns/communities you represent. I HOPE each of you fall on hard times and are treated 20-fold how you've treated others. 10/9: I called back into the office to request a letterhead write up of this office denying me the right to make a $175.00 payment on 10/7 and then $125.00 on Friday - I spoke to Sarah and she took my email address and said she would. Upon thinking about the conversation I called back and wanted the verbiage to be exact with denying me the request to make two payments when I encountered the putrid Donna. This woman proceeds to tell me I've berated her office staff (thank God for recorded calls) and goes on to interrupt me and overtalk me while telling me she's going to pray for me...in which I replied thank you, I love when people pray for me. I also added before I ended the call that she has been the nasty one. When I first relocated to Pa., there was confusion in who/when/how the bill was supposed to be paid. She never outlined the steps or told me the process upon paying the bill - she proceeded to have the water shutoff and repeatedly hung up the phone on me while being nasty. I called the water board and the woman/man assisting me both expressed that Donna is unprofessional and should not be in her position because she's not nice to the customers. The water never should have been terminated and she deserved the tongue lashing she got in 2022 and what's coming to her if it's turned off again. There is NO reason to be this vile towards people. I know w/o a doubt I have never talked poorly to anyone in that office other than her ...it was because of her unprofessionalism and poor communication that got my water shutoff in 2022 ...no one was responsible for that but Donna and I let her know it as well. There's a way to speak to people and there's a way not to speak to people; and she needs to be reset and put through basic communication 101 or remove herself from the position she holds and focus on praying for her ugly heart and disrespectful mannerisms towards people she services in the community. When trying to see why I was not contacted after Decemeber or sent any reminders, the wage assessment lady, shelly, proceeded to call me a liar. I advised that I filed a BBB complaint and she was upset that I have added more work to her load. SO wildly unprofessional. read more
