Visited and ordered tons of food, but not the wings.... I would not suggest doing this. Service Wasn't good, very slow and didn't acknowledge us for quite some time. After being sitting and ordering, the service got marginally better, but low energy and not very helpful. Chicken/Waffle was ok, the waffle was good; sweet, soft and yummy. However, the chicken leaved a lot to be desired. It was overly simple and very bland. The dish took quite a while for us, perhaps 20 min. Hot Dogs Just know that these hot dogs are different. Despite altering the toppings to their liking, my children wouldn't eat much of the dog. They did not like the taste, and tasing it myself, it definitely tastes different. To be fair, the server warned us it was a different type of sausage, but I had no idea it'd be that different. Mozzarella Sticks These were decent. We shared them and they were enjoyed. These felt 'middle of the road'; decent cheesy taste with an ok crumbly exterior. Chili Cheese Nuggets Understand this is cheese and chili peppers breaded and deep fried. I'm not a big wings girl, but I've enjoyed the wings here. Now, I suppose I should preface that with - I do not eat chicken wings on the bone. So I only eat the boneless wings. Some might call those nuggies. Whatever. I've tried the lemon peppers, the sweet chili Buffalo, and a few of the different celebrity inspired ones. I think the sweet chili Buffalo will become my go to, but I plan to try more. I would say that the fries are just okay. I try to get the sour cream on the side because I feel like it makes the fries too soggy before I have the chance to eat it (I only do takeout). When you work around the area and have limited areas to eat. Shawingz is something to consider for quick bite to eat. IMO, they are heavily on the salt. I also ordered the fried pickles and they were too salty, wings were ok and their tacos are not too bad. We really enjoyed their onions rings though. If you want to go and get some of the best wings in Germany, then this is the place for you. The seating area is small but even if you have to get it to go, it's still worth it. The staff is very friendly and the food is always fast to be served. An amazing selection of flavors for the wings is a huge selling point. I recommend Shawingz to everyone I know. read more

Great wings! Very American, a welcomed taste of home. There are about 45 different flavors for the wing sauce plus burgers and other American bar food. Great place! They have a humongous selection of wings. Crazy flavors and boneless or bone in. The environment is pub friendly. You look on the walls there are writings of the many visitors. Ate here in April 14, so things might have changed. Wings were "meh," even the hottest wings you could order everyone at the table was able to eat no problem. Just not enough spices or something in the sauce. Beer was average price, standard Landstuhl stuff on tap (Bitburger). Fries were decent, probably better than average. Lots of sauce options for the wings which provided good variety, but they definitely need to work on those spiciness levels! An okay place to check out if you've hit everything else in Landstuhl, but don't go there expecting American quality wings. I went when I first arrived here to landstuhl. I ordered the fried pickles and lemon pepper wings. Both orders came out quickly. I was not impressed with the pickles. The portion was too big and was not what I was expecting. The wings...the season of lemon pepper smelled like butt hole. I have never smelled something so disgusting.Lemon pepper does not smell like a$$. I told the waitress and I ordered a different flavor that was better but the wings sauce is not that great. I prefer Shawangz on Vogelweh . The flavor is better, but the wings were precooked and luke warm. I don't do Luke warm food especially friend chicken read more

We like this place for the atmosphere and the occasional wing fix. The winds wouldn't stand a chance in the US but they do the trick over here. The price isn't terrible and they offer a huge selection of unique flavors. Some are definitely better than others. The service is hit or miss but the people have always been nice. Went to the all you can eat on Monday for the first time. We sat there for 30 mins before anyone came to take our order and get drinks. Once we ordered it took another 30 mins just to receive our 10 tiny wings. They say all you can eat but you only get 10 at a time and you have to 30 minutes before you can get the next 10. The service is terrible especially if they are busy. Wouldn't recommend the "all you can eat" to anyone. If you must order food from here just get the delivery. read more

So I'm a wings purest, i cant stand the the new super large gaint gmo wings. So when i got wings at Shwingz i was ecstatic to find real natural chicken wings(yes they are small, crispy goodness smothered in amazing sauces). Honestly they're getting better. Over my 3 year tour in Germany their menu evolved for faster/better preparation and more refined recipes. I just wish their HOTTEST wings were always available. This place is now in its third location so before you go you will have to look up where they are. I must hAve went there on a bad night. All they had was boneless chicken and no chicken wings which they are known for. I got take out and waited an hour to get it. This is absolutely the worst service I have experienced Germany. My daughter ordered chicken nuggets and fries and the fries came out 20 minutes after the nuggets. My wife ordered a refill on her drink and the server never brought it. The food was actually good but the service was horrible.
