So I wanted a photographer that would be able to capture the emotions of my (now) fiancée and the vibe of the moment, but with an artistic touch. I am so happy I found Neil, as the pictures came out exceeding my expectations. Neil is a gifted photographer who is able to use all the elements in the environment to capture beautiful pictures. As we were shooting, I could see him racking up his brain to find the perfect angle and elements in the background for his ideas. He was directing us precisely on how to pose and managed to get us looking really good even though we have no posing experience. Also, I had this whole elaborate plan to surprise my fiancée for the proposal and Neil was very patient and engaged in collaborating with me. Thanks to his willingness to play along, the plan worked out perfectly. It is also interesting to note that during that day, Neil suggested a last minute change in the plan that ended becoming the best decision made. That shows his great creativity and ressourcefulness. Visiting private art galleries can sometimes be intimidating when you are in no position to purchase. Browsing oftentimes feels intrusive. This was not the case at Twist Gallery. In addition to exhibiting art the large space can be booked for events. It is easy to see how the venue can be transformed by bringing in furniture and accessories for a variety of purposes. An interesting space that is charming without being formal. I was greeted and encouraged to take my time with the art which I greatly appreciated. It was a very nice showcase of locally based Toronto talent. Twist Gallery will definitely remain on my radar for art and as an event space to recommend to friends and associates. I am so pleased that the gallery has survived the pandemic.

Truly, there is no responsiveness or professionalism at all. We had paid for our day of coverage plus an additional $1200 to use towards a photo album. It has been 14 months since my wedding and I still have not received a photo album. I have messaged the "office" multiple times, messaged Dave himself on Instagram, etc... and still have not heard anything back. At this point I'm tired of hounding them. It took 4-5 months just to get the digital copies of my photos too (no sneak peaks). Please avoid and go with a more professional company where you might actually receive the products which you paid for.

We were promised a two week turnaround time. He has since then disappeared. Emails have been replied to by his secretary with false delivery dates and no curtesy call to update us on the progress. It is june 2017 now and I still have not gotten to see the any photos he took on that day. I will update my review if things change.
