Paola is my nail person. Crystal has been doing my hair for about 3 years now. I honestly drive down 1 hour and 30 mins just to receive services from them. They now have an aesthetician and I will be booking my appointment to get eyelash extensions and a facial with her. I am not really someone who likes getting a haircut, but Micah did such a great job and made it a very enjoyable experience. This salon is cute, clean and well kept; it was a pleasure getting my hair done there. Micah even did a little teal color in my hair around my face, and I love it. This place is by far the worst salon I have ever been to. I wouldn't even call it a salon. It reminded me of going to a run down Super Cuts. The carpet and ceiling is stained the salon chairs have brownish gray hair dye splattered all over them. The stylists have no professionalism and were constantly cussing and carrying on with each other and not their clients. I am honestly not sure how they get such great reviews honestly. I brought my two girls (8 and 7) with me to get my hair dyed and cut and they were going to get their hair cut as well. I was hoping to make it a fun experience for us all and the only thing I was concerned about was what they were seeing and hearing. Now on to the actual cut and dye of my hair. Paula was my stylist. I showed her a picture of a golden blonde hair color on my phone. I asked Paula if she could do she said yes. My hair was dirty blonde base with bleached blonde ends. She went back to mix the color and was yelling from the back room if she could borrow color from other stylists. Then she came and asked the owner what she thought she should do. Then She went back and mixed the color. She started with foils and then dyed the rest. All seemed to be going ok at that time. She rinsed my hair and added toner. Nothing seemed out of the ordinary. Then when we went back to the chair she started drying my hair. At that point I knew something was wrong my hair was not golden blonde but auburn brown!!!! It was brown with a reddish cast. I almost cried!!! I was devastated!!! She also got dye all over my face and hands. She never offered to clean it up but just scrubbed with a dirty towel. I paid and left and I am now left with hair color I didn't want and I have a choice to leave it or fry my hair to change it. read more

I had the pleasure of meeting Valerie yesterday. She was a sweetheart! I have never been to this shop before and I was a little nervous. Most of my adult life I have had a perm. Ask for Paola! The blonde on black hair was perfect!!I'm new to the Los banos area. I had booked an appointment with the salon I normally go to, but I was short on time to have to drive an hour. I've been so busy this week that I didn't even think of searching for a local Los banos salon till this am. I saw the great reviews that this salon had and called asking for a same day appointment. Its not easy to have available same day appointments in a salon that has good reviews for obvious reasons, their busy. I was told that today was booked and was asked if I'd like another day. I was in a rush to get my hair done because I was going out of town for the weekend. 15 minutes later Paola calls me and says that she had a cancelation. I agreed to our appointment and I couldn't be happier with her service! Same day appointment and she was able to cut my husbands hair while I was under the dryer. I have had a good experience with crystal and I came in with an orange colored brassy blonde and I did not like it. I wanted to have platinum and she made it happen. I had the best experience from booking the appointment to leaving the salon. I called last minute for an appointment for a cut and color expecting to be out of luck, I asked if I could book with Crystal and to my surprise she was available and could take me at 5:45pm after work!! I was so excited that a salon and especially the owner would take a new client around my schedule. When I came for my appointment Crystal was very welcoming and asked what I wanted to do to my hair? It's been so long since I've done anything to it and I am always scared of what the outcome would be. Crystal knew exactly what to do and explained everything step by step so that I felt good about it. I have a ton of hair and the appointment took a long time around 4 1/2 hours. Crystal did not rush and took her time and we talked liked old friends. She told me of all the services her salon offers from waxing, tanning, massage, one stop shop. At the end of my visit I felt like a new person and I ABSOLUTELY LOVED MY HAIR!! I bought some products Crystal recommended for my frizzy hair.
