I've had very good experiences there. When I order from my M.T.O machine, service is quick and they haven't messed up any of my orders yet.

Good and friendly service, usually fast depending on how many people are there due to the shortage of staff working

So anytime we go up to our cottage- dad likes to stop here. Yesterday, after some grass cutting & cleaning up we stopped in. The place has that 'stopped in time' vibe that normally gets shut down, razed and built back up into a Family Dollar... but there's one down the street so Paxtons is save. Lol... Anyway- just look at that menu- those prices are cheaper than McDonalds and the quality is 10x better. Whoever rates this place less than 4 stars just doesn't realize what they have here- a small town, small business, struggling and making it, providing good food at a very fair price in a world where franchises are less than 1 minute away (Sheetz). I ordered the Big Bacon Double & large order of fries. The bacon was crispy, the bun was fresh, burgers were fresh (not frozen) patties pounded out on the griddle (think smash burger IF the SmashBurger trend had ever reached Greenville. Lol) Dad got the Chopped Beef steak and large fries. Both were delicious- the pics don't lie. Some might have issues with the dark colors, carpet on the walls, etc... but they serve SOLID food at family prices.

Highly recommend this restaurant because of its excellent food for affordable prices.read more

I had seen so many good reviews & was so excited to try this new spot in town! (finally, Hermitage…read moregot something different) This place is super cute and cozy, has plenty of room to hang out, the employees were kind & sounded fun when I could hear them in the kitchen! I will say I am highly disappointed about my visit due to the quality of the food I received. The Chicken Bacon Ranch Wrap was absolutely gorgeous while looking at it until I bit into it and discovered fatty bacon that I had to spit out as well as it not tasting very good. I ended up not finishing the wrap due to whatever the unpleasant flavor was accompanying the bacon because it tainted the entire thing. I will say the chicken and other ingredients seemed fine! The Dubai Chocolate Pistachio Latte was subpar, probably due to not making any customizations. It simply lacked flavor and just tasted like a mocha. I wish I hadn't spent $8 on it. One bad experience does not turn me off from trying a location again though, I know things happen and sometimes I don't pick the best menu items to try!

Ordering was very easy at the counter and the staff is friendly. We ordered a double espresso, espresso, hot honey mustard wrap, and buffalo chicken wrap. Somehow our order came out to almost $40. The decor in this place is cute. The wraps and coffee were good, but I am not sure any of it was worth what we paid for a casual cafe. I don't want to give it 3 stars because of pricing, but it's probably like 3.5 for that reason.

It can be difficult to tell if the storefront is open by the outside but both the signage and website can help inform you. Inside, the cafe is spacious yet cozy, with beautiful tables and chairs (although I did notice an absence of any type of decor or wall art; perhaps that will come in time). The menu has all of the standards. I tried a custom vanilla bean cold brew and it was the best I've ever tried anywhere! Perfectly crafted, excellent (locally roasted) beans, and friendly service on top of it all. I appreciated that my drink was even delivered to my table - you don't get that any coffeeshop, and certainly not a big chain. At the time of this review, the kitchen, which offers a few simple breakfast items, closes at 2pm, although the shop is open into the early evening hours most days. Plan ahead if you are in need of an afternoon snack, although a few baked good are available at the counter. The space offers lovely music in the background and free WiFi. I found it a very comfortable space to work for a spell and while I did I noticed the constant flow of customers, which was delightful to see, especially in a new business. It's great to have these type of locally owned and operated one-of-a-kind places in the region. I'll certainly make the drive to visit again just for the coffee and neighborhood feel. I look forward to seeing how this cafe grows. Recommended!!
