We pulled off and tried to find the nearest auto place but thankfully got lost trying to find it and stumbled upon this Midas. Harry and his team lifted the car and when they checked the tires, found that one of them was severely deflated while the other three had almost two times the amount of air they were supposed to - so if we hit a pothole (it was a miracle that we didn't since we picked up the car in Brooklyn) the tires would have blown up and we would've been completely screwed. Not only did he rotate the tires and make sure we were safely on our way, he didn't charge us anything and wrote up something for us to give the rental car place to tell them to give us a discount, which they did. After following up, I was informed that the shop was no longer willing to service my vehicle, as it now required a turbo replacement. I expressed my dissatisfaction, especially after having just paid over $1,000, and was told by the manager, John, that it would be best to take the car to a dealership. This was surprising, given that the turbo issue was not mentioned during my initial service. Upon my arrival to retrieve my vehicle, I requested my keys and documentation regarding the work performed, but I was told that no records were available. This lack of communication and transparency prompted me to contact Midas Corporation to report the incident, as I found the situation to be highly questionable.

Energy Drinks, Fresh Krispy Kreme Donuts and giant 69 cent drinks in the vein of 7/11's really rounds out your wants and needs. Getting in and out of this place is easy, the gas is priced right and as a bonus they also have restrooms. This particular location is located in Jeannette, and it is open 24 hours per day. My husband and I needed to fill up the gas tank in our SUV with premium gasoline. A pump was available for our use, so we did not have to wait in a line of vehicles. The price of $4.999 per gallon was comparable to what other gas stations charge, and we experienced no waits or malfunctioning with the pump. Note: If you are a member of Giant Eagle's rewards program, then you can earn Perks here and later redeem them for discounts on gas and groceries. We did not use the convenience store or the GetGo Cafe, so I cannot comment on them.

To note it is at a very busy intersection on Route 30 in Jeannette. This sits between two red light intersections, on a busy day this can be quite a chore to get in and out of. With it being brand new the location has all the bells and whistles. The gas island is set off to one side of the lot making it fairly easy if you are just getting gas. There is also a free air spot for your tires. The store portion is pretty great. It has that industrial feel. It has all that you would expect to find when it comes to convenience. This location also has a fairly extensive selection of beer and wine. The hot prepared food section is rather nice looking. I cannot speak to the speed or quality of the food as I was just looking for a quick drink after fueling up my vehicle. One added bonus at this location is kind of hidden. Prior to this being a GetGo a PNC Bank sat at the location. PNC didn't completely go away. In the back right corner there sits a drive up ATM, brought to you by no other than PNC.

If you are not familiar with this place it sits where Giant Eagle use to have a store straight out…read moreof the late 70s. Now, let me tell you a story of why this place is setup the way it is. Before Pennsylvania decided to get with the times with their liquor laws Giant Eagle as well as several other companies and corporations tried their hardest to find loopholes on selling alcohol to their customers. This is the case with this place. It is a GetGo, but it is set up so differently than other locations. Prior the changes in alcohol sales you were not allowed to sale alcohol in gas stations/convenience stores, so for them to bypass this they decided to build a GetGo gas station and a GetGo café separately on one piece of land. The gas station part is setup like what you would find near a Giant Eagle. Really can't buy much at the gas island portion, but as soon as you go to the other side of the lot you have the store part. In order to sale alcohol you needed to prove that you had a café on premise or had the ability for patrons to eat at your property. That is what they did here. Allowing for beer to be sold without having to go to a distributor. The café part is close to immaculate. Everything is clean and organized. Late at night it is mostly quiet. I am always appreciative of the free air for tires which I partook in while I was here.
