The location of this one is at an intersection that doesn't necessarily let you cross over the streets, so watch where you enter and exit, lest you find yourself on a divided street with medians. I stopped by Sheetz on my way home from a visit to Raleigh and found a snack and a drink to make my hour-long trip home much more comfortable. I loved being able to check myself out and get back on the road quickly. My only issue was locating the soltore from the street. The signs in the area didn't indicate whether it was on my right or left, and I had to make a hasty turn, so I didn't miss it. Otherwise, this was a good trip. read more

Brand spankin new Sheetz that also has a new layout inside. As with all new locations the gas is lower than other locations for a limited time. Regular unleaded is $2.25 a gallon right now and if you swipe your Sheetz rewards card at the pump it takes off three cents per gallon, that's $2.22! As I said, the layout is different inside. Upon entering the food and drink ordering screens are front and center. To the right are the snacks, self serve ice cream, and soft drink area with a few additions like a wide selection of iced teas and flavored slushies. To the left of the screens are hot beverages and the food prep area. Next to the food pick up area they have a sizeable indoor seating area as well as tables outside with umbrellas and a lighted atrium over it. The employees are friendly and eager to assist. Went in 2/10 and ordered the two chicken sliders - I took two bites and something told me to throw it out. Two hours later I have stomach cramps and immediately knew it was food poisoning. From 5 pm - 8 am I was in the bathroom fighting for my life. We're talking both ends. Me on the toilet clutching to my trash can while my boyfriend sits outside the door trying to offer support. I didn't eat anything else that day. so whomp there it is - sheetz betrayed me. I wouldn't wish what I experienced on my worst enemy. My boyfriend still loves me despite hearing WW3 all night. So if you're looking to test if your partner will stick with you through sickness and health... please seek out alternate options. read more

Sheetz gave us, in honor of their opening,a free sandwich, fries, a large drink and a doughnut. It was absolutely delicious and a welcome break from work. My lunch has been sitting in the fridge for two days so I was happy to get fresh, free food instead. I'm pretty excited about them opening up so close to work. B Under the current COVID-19 conditions, you would think that the store would promote conditions for keeping customers safer by stocking receipt paper in the fuel pumps. Nope, I have to go in the store everytime and ask for my receipt. I appreciate them putting me at risk when all I want is fuel...and to get my receipt at the pump. Decent new place close to work. The location is very convenient, and right off a highway. Easy to get in and out. It is a typical Sheetz, but maybe a little bit smaller than some? It has everything you need. For a while, its gas price is much better than anything in the triangle (probably to draw customers into a new business). read more

This Sheetz is amazing! The new layout is sleek, clean and very functional! When you walk in, the MTO kiosks are right in front with the registers just beyond them. The Pick up counter is straight towards the back...very convenient and clearly marked so there is no confusion for the new customer. The beverage areas are in an L shape, with the cold Fizz City fountain drinks, the self serve ice cream machines, the Iced Teas ( sweet tea, unsweet tea, watermelon, raspberry, peach and sweet green tea are the current options!) frozen slushee type drinks and a new fountain Pepsi drink machine to the right of the front door. The Coffee bar which includes Decaf, Breakfast, Classic, Sumatra and French brews as well as a self serve Cupp o chino ( hot chocolate, French vanilla and Cinnabon flavored hot drinks) is on the left side of the main area as you walk in. They have flavored shots for your coffee as well in the self serve Magic Cow machines and several sweetener options. The entire area is well stocked and clean. The seating area is large and very nicely appointed. There are tables and chairs as well as long counters with tall chairs facing Davis Drive so you can watch the traffic while you enjoy your morning breakfast or any time! Come the warmer weather, you will be able to enjoy all that Sheetz offers while sitting on the beautiful patio. The red umbrellas will keep the hot sun off you while you sip of a frozen coffee drink or Smoothie from the MTO. The bakery boasts many types of pastries for your enjoyment! They have ring and filled doughnuts, twists, cookies and the new Cinnabon coffee cakes and Cinnabon Muffins (awesome!!) as well as blueberry muffins. The pastries are always fresh and tasty! There are soooooo many options to choose from at the MTO kiosks. They have several awesome salads( my fav is the Cobb salad) , wraps, burgers, subs...both cold and hot, breakfast sandwiches and platters, fries, onions rings and so much more. You can opt for all types of condiments, breads, rolls, sauces, cheeses, extra meats, extra cheese....just about anything you can think of. The food is always fresh and made to order. There are so many products in the store....more than your typical 'convenience store' fare. The shelves are well stocked and organized. The entire store is clean and neat and the bathrooms are immaculate. Most restrooms have a changing station installed now but Sheetz has gone one step farther....they have a seat in the larger stall in the ladies room to put your child in with a strap to secure the baby. Sheetz has thought of everything! Another review did mention there were growing pains in the beginning which is true. However, these have been worked out and the processes are smooth and handled well by a very friendly and competent staff. Everyone always have a big smile on their faces. They go out of their way to help you with anything you need. I have even seen several employees go out to the gas pumps to assist customers with using their loyalty cards, credits cards or whatever. Rather than just explaining something to the customer but actually showing them makes all the difference to earning a loyal customer. That is GOOD customer service!! And THAT is a basic for the Sheetz chain....total customer focus! All in all, this is great addition to the area and Sheetz is a great company. Go check out this new store and the new layout! I am sure it will soon be your go-to place for your morning coffee, a quick meal, or many items the store offers. If beer is your preference, check out the large Beer Cave....but be sure to bring your ID. Sheetz cards everyone unless you are a senior citizen! ( and even then if you look young!) We were excited to try this new location Howe they were experiencing a lot of growing pains. Grill ordering kiosks were down and covered with bags.
