During that consultation, before we had made a decision about whether we wanted to hire him, he contacted the insurance company on our behalf. The conversation felt unnecessarily aggressive, and we were uncomfortable that such a significant step was taken before we had decided to retain him. At that point, we felt pressured into continuing because it seemed the situation had already been set in motion without our approval. Communication throughout the case was extremely poor. It was often difficult to get updates, questions went unanswered, and we frequently felt like we were being avoided rather than informed. This added a great deal of stress during an already difficult time for our family. What made the experience even more disappointing was that our family knew him personally and expected a higher level of professionalism, communication, and trust.
