It's nice, clean and the store is typically well stocked, BUT the gas is often $0.20 a gallon more then other nearby stations.

There are two kinds of gas stations in this world…read more The ones you stop at because you have to... and the ones you stop at because somehow their prices are ten cents cheaper than everyone else nearby and your brain suddenly turns into a financial analyst. The Marathon on Wiles Road falls firmly into category two. Located at the corner where Coral Springs residents collectively decide whether they're just getting gas or accidentally beginning a full errand marathon, this place has quietly built a reputation for having some of the better gas prices in the area. Not "drive across three counties" cheap, but consistently lower than a lot of nearby stations, which in today's economy feels like discovering buried treasure. And honestly, that's the main reason people are here. The staff has also always been pretty friendly to me. Quick hello, polite interaction, no weird energy. In the gas station universe, where customer service can range anywhere from "pleasant" to "human hostage situation," that actually stands out. Now for the convenience store portion of the program. It exists. The selection inside is a little limited compared to other stations nearby. You can grab the basics, sure, but this is not the kind of place where you wander the aisles discovering exciting snacks you didn't know you needed. It's more of a focused "get your drink, maybe a candy bar, and keep moving" situation. And then there's the Hostess pricing mystery. I swear the prices on those products seem to fluctuate depending on who's working that day. One visit, a pack of Donettes feels reasonably priced. The next visit, it's apparently a luxury pastry item imported from Europe. I'm not saying there's an underground snack futures market operating behind the counter... but I'm also not fully ruling it out. Still, the combination of decent gas prices and consistently polite employees keeps this place comfortably above terrible. On the flip side, the limited variety and occasional pricing inconsistencies keep it planted squarely in average territory. So three stars feels right. Not a destination gas station. Not a disaster. Just a dependable local stop trying to survive in the highly competitive South Florida fuel Olympics.

My granddaughter had a very bad and traumatizing experience here. She was accused of shoplifting…read morejust because she went into the store and didn't find what she needed and walked out. So the employee took it upon himself and assumed that she lifted something from the store. In his defense she came into the store and walked out. Now, he asked her to comeback into the store because she forgot to pay for something. My granddaughter told him she didn't take anything. So he made her wait until he watched the video of her inside the store. My granddaughter said the video didn't show her taking anything. She called me crying and very upset about the situation because she has never stolen anything in her life. And this employee didn't even apologize. Never again will we patronize the business.
