Located at the junction of interstate 280 and US 61 South this was a long time coming it was needed near the Davenport South West part of the city. This one has a very large truck parking lot scales. Like many of the newer Kwik centers there are showers a TV room unfortunately the TV does not work they can't seem to get the service hooked up properly but they're trying. This one has a good Wi-Fi Like all the other KS has the beer cooler and all the stuff you come to expect from Kwik Star the fresh deli the hot food the pizzas the Frozen the full convenience store great coffee. the free ATMs no fee(your bank May charge different) I came in got myself some nice hot two pieces of dark meat chicken tonight leg and a thigh, some mashed potato side with gravy and I was kind of hungry so I also opted for the cheesy filled breadsticks with some marinara sauce cup. Wash it down with a 28 Oz Powerade zero sugar grape. Very very clean although it's still new but most of these Kwik trips and Kwik Stars that you come to know especially the newer travel centers do a great job of catering to everybody. So no need for an extensive review it's like any other Kwik Star travel center but very well kept.

The store is not well organized (beer is not by type, sorta random, mostly singles) but whatever they have some solid selections. Then I made a mistake and didn't look on the bottoms of the cans. There were IPAs that had remove from shelf dates in summer 2024 dates on them when I unloaded. What the heck are they doing still selling that? I cannot recommend this place as a result. The person behind the counter was helpful and made some suggestions for beers and the prices were reasonable. They have a large snack and alcohol selection as well as some smoking items. I paid cash at the counter in advance before going to pump #7 to fuel my vehicle. The hose where it meets the nozzle was frayed to the point where it was breached, and started spraying gasoline all over me, my car, and the ground. I informed the attendant about the problem, and she was very rude to me - not only did she not bother to investigate the matter, but she even told me I was the only one who complained about it, implying that I was lying when I asked for a credit or refund for the gas I paid for that was pumped out of the hole in the hose & not into the car's tank. I even had her call the owner to report it, and their only concern was my request for a refund -- there was no concern at all about gasoline leaking onto the ground at your station. She refused to let me speak with the owner myself.
