Things such as "strict limit on 2 bags of ice". Ummm is there a shortage of frozen water? Just ridiculousness. I purchased several packages of mints and just picked up the box they were sitting in. The employee began to question why I picked up The box. I told her that I wanted them all. She told me, well you can't have the box you need to put it back. I don't give a damn about your little Altoids box my dear, I just can't carry 8 mints and a soda water in one hand. So I returned the box to wear it was sitting, looked around and noticed this once busy store was empty other than myself. I can't imagine why. This store is older, and dated but it still gets 5*s. It's run by two little Indian guys that are just about the most friendly guys you could ever ask to meet. It's located right across from the towns middle school, and they know every kids name in town.. they also know every regular customers name. This isn't my primary residence so I just come in on occasion, but both still call me by name when they see me. They have a bigger selection of candy and junk food than you could possibly imagine (probably because they are across from a school). It's well lit at night and safe, mostly because it's a mile from the courthouse but also because the place is always full of locals. This is like going back 30 years or so, they do business on a handshake and customers aren't in a hurry to leave. This is not an updated, or new store. It's old, I'll admit. Doesn't matter, all the locals love it and so do I!!!

My elderly mother lost her phone there about a month ago and this girl not only brought it to the back and called my sister from it, but she charged my mothers phone for her!! Like whaaaa whose that nice? I wish I could remember her name, its something like Carla I think, or maybe not. Idk how gas stations work but please give her a raise- her hospitality is off the charts and for a gas station? Near Houston? I mean shes awesome, way too cool for you guys.
