Previously, I used to go to Petro Canada but I started going to Esso once my switched credit cards and my current credit card was affiliated with Esso (and as such provided a slight discount). This Esso is like any gas station so not much I can say about it. My car seems to prefer Esso fuel over Petro Canada fuel since for some reason when I switched to Esso, the check engine light which was "permanently" on in my car turned off and then when I refueled with Petro Canada, it turned on again (only to switch off when I went back to Esso). I did have the check engine light looked at and my mechanic told me of what the code was referencing but he mentioned it wouldn't be an easy and quick fix and would clear/reset the check engine light code so the light went off. I took my car to the dealership and they also told me that they would have to narrow down the problem by fixing/replacing component by component to see what was causing it and it wasn't really worthwhile doing this. They informed me that it wasn't a serious issue. Since switching to Esso fuel (or at least the Esso here), my check engine light hasn't turned back on in over 2 years whereas previously when filling up at Petro Canada, it would turn on "permanently" an after resetting it, it would turn on again within a few days/weeks.

I live two minutes from here and although the gas may be 1-2 cents more expensive here than elsewhere, I won't fill up anywhere else. I got into my first car accident last year and they gave me great advice and calmed me down in a way that goes beyond their job as a gas station/garage employee. They are super friendly and offer a lot of flexibility for tire changes. I'll admit, I don't know the first thing about cars. They took the time to explain things to me in a way that I could (kinda) undestand. Great family-owned place.

When filling up here I love that within the last 10 years that most all gas stations you can pay at the pump. The gas fill up is a boring procedure and so it helps make it as painless and quick as possible with PATP. The car wash is crazyyyyy busyon a nice day! If you want to avoid the lineups I've noted it's best to come in the evening say 7:00 - 9:00 pm. There is also an air compressor which you need to feed quarters. Also present is a convenient corner store with chips, chocolate bars, beer, wine, other snacks and junk food. It's been ages since I've purchased anything other than gas or car washes. For a Shell this place is as I expect it. A place for convenience and basic needs for you and your car.

As mentioned in my earlier review, this Petro Canada has an automated car wash and I used to gas up at Petro Canada regularly until I no longer had a credit card (RBC credit card) which gave me a discount on Petro Canada fuel) so started going to Esso and discovered that my car seems to run better on Esso gas than Petro Canada gas (engine light would go on with Petro Canada gas and stopped going on when I switched to Esso). Since I still had some car washes available on my prepaid card, I stopped by to get my car wash. The automated car wash worked as expected. You pay and then you drive so your car's front tires are over the track and then put your car in neutral and make sure your windows (and sunroof if your car has that) are closed and the track will then slowly move your car through the car wash. My car is old so I don't really care about hand-washing or machine washing my car. The car wash did a decent job but I'm not too picky.

Wow what a gaz station! With complete amazement, I was able to find gaz here, and actually pump…read moresome into my car. Surprisingly, very easily. It's was so simple, Holly molly, all I had to do is insert a small plastic card with a matching logo I saw on the pump. Then, I just had to follow the on screen instructions. Press a few buttons, and voilà! I was pumping some gaz into that baby pronto. If you've never experienced this before, you are in for a world of super treat. I highly recommend to do this at least once a week, more if you decide to travel the world -- who wouldn't when it's that easy to fuel up. The fun does not stop there. From the outside I saw that this station had some snacks and drinks, I had to just see for myself. Can it be true? Gaz and snacks and drinks! Wow, just wow! In I go, mother of pearls ... it's absolutely true. You will find a pledora of snack items, and more drink choices you can shake a tree at!
