They said no . They said that the vacuum has nothing to do with Shell gas station. What??? then why is it attached to the Shell station? It's a part of Shell. Why wouldn't they give me that $3 so I can go to somewhere where the vacuums work? Another time I came in and bought some windshield wipes. They did not work. They had no liquid in it. I tried working on my car. They did not do anything. So I went back inside and asked if I could use another bottle that was on the shelf. The guy said no. I said fine. I'll go back and try using four or five of them. if they don't work, I'm coming back to get a new bottle or my money back. He said fine. Used six of them. Were not working. So I put them on top of where the windshield wiper fluid comes out onto the front window. Soaked them up. Used them. I went back inside and asked for my money back. He said they could not do it. I asked to speak to management. Young kid came out to speak to me. I explained the situation. He immediately said no for my money back. I said I'd like to speak to the owner then. He told me that he's not in until Monday. I said well I'm not coming back on Monday. I'm going to speak to somebody now. He told me I cannot do that. Then he said "I've had enough of this. I'm going home." He didn't go home. He went to the back and hid. I informed them that I was not going to leave until something was done about this. They kept telling me they can't do anything. More customers came in. I continued trying to properly resolve the situation. then all of a sudden they said I could my money back. Why not just do that in the first place? That would've been good customer service. I miss the previous people who used to work here. Things have changed at gas stations. That's for sure. Having a lot of issues now with management. Not only gas stations. Grocery stores, Walmart, mall fast food spots, Fast food restaurants, pet stores, etc. Times have changed in Canada. Based on this gas station alone .... Not for the better.

NOT THE SAME PLACE ANYMORE…read more There must be new ownership. I've been coming to this place for snacks and a car wash since the 90s. I would have given them top marks just a few years ago. They were super friendly and curteous. Before you entered the car wash, I guy would power wash the wheels and wheel wells to ensure the effectiveness of the automatic car wash. It was a very nice "Personal" touch that kept me coming back. What happened! All the regular staff are gone. The new guys down seam to give a s**t about their customers. I told the clerk I specifically wanted my car and wheels washed. My wheels looked like crap. I even made a comment about the pre-wash power washing. He told me to run through and try it. The former owners would allow you to run through again if you were not happy with the results. I never did it but I knew it was their policy. NOT THESE GUYS! The owner came rushing over when I asked and my request for a second time turned into an argument. WHY? I just wanted a clean car. It would have cost them nothing. By refusing my request it cost them a customer.

You're open 24 hours, which is a rarity in this neck of the woods. Plus you have that really nice dude working there who likes to pet the dogs & give them treats. But now, I'm moving. Our imminent separation has given me the opportunity to really take a good hard look at your offerings. WestChev, I'm gonna level with you. All too often, you're out of the premium grades of gasoline. With no sign on the pump! Now this may not seem like a big deal to you, but my car likes the expensive crap. Most importantly (and you may want to sit down for this) your pumps are incredibly slow. It's like my car is coupling with a sloth. Pick up the speed, man, we've all got things to do! Finally, your snack selection is the pits. I may see you from time to time, you know, if I'm in the neighborhood. But for now, we're done.

Good thing that there were no line up. The issue is that it is not easy to get to this gas station if you are heading south. Well I was heading west so I managed to drive into the station. No line up. Gas as 209.9 everywhere and it was 207.9. Plus I have a CIBC credit so I get 2.5 cents off. So it was 205.4 for me. Gas has gotten so expensive.

So you get the idea, this is very spacious, lots of time/space to do U-turns here. And a very tidy convenience store, look at how the bags of chips are neatly stacked. Plus a true ice cream buffet here, in the back, right hand side. ATM. open 24 hours, conveniently located just before you get onto the 2nd Narrows bridge. Clean washrooms inside, no key needed, those are the best so I don't have to touch those dirty keys.

He refused. He insisted he was not responsible to deliver the product. Once it's paid for, he doesn't care what happens. When I asked for the head office phone number, I was given a number for somewhere in the States. They told me it was up to the Station Manager. Despite the long line of people waiting to be helped (and the line was ever growing, too), this lady was SO slow, as if she was moving in slow motion at times, and acted....numbed in her affectation to customers. Like, she didn't care to be there, and she didn't care who knew it. It was if it was a major endeavor to take the bills from each customer and slowly, ever so slowly, check each one out, arrange them in order in some way (turning some to face upwards), and then slowly put each one in the till. And the line of customers was getting longer and longer. Didn't matter. The place could be on fire and this lady would be slowly arranging the dollar bills..... Argh. Finally it was my turn at the counter. I asked to put "x" amount of gas in my car and informed her which pump I was at. And since there were posted signs everywhere advertising a few candy bar with fill-up, I also brought a candy bar with me. She said the candy was only free with 30L fill up. I asked if $35 of gas would qualify, and she said she didn't know, I'd have to fill up my car and come back with the receipt (waiting in this crazy slow line again? WTH?). What kind of half-ass promotion is this? (I decided to forget about this "free" chocolate bar. I probably don't need it, anyhow. Still, the principal of the matter irks me....). Horrible customer service and horrible "promotional" advertising.
