I swerved around the car to the pump to get gas. The driver came over and identified himself as the owner of this Shell station, named Frank. He was upset at me for honking. I explained that he had stopped and I was stuck in incoming traffic. He said that was no reason to honk at him. I asked him not to make it personal but I was concerned for my safety. He then started yelling at me, had his employees surround me, and capped it all off by calling me a "white, piece of shit." I will no longer do business here and wanted to share this experience with fellow consumers.

After pumping about five dollars of gas into my car, I tried to shut off the pump but the nozzle wouldn't unlock. I tried several times to get it to disengage and the handle just felt weird, like it had been altered. I was able to finally get it to unlock and whatever mechanism that was keeping it in the pump position snapped back and cut my hand. I'm in my 50s and have pumped gas thousands of times. I have never had a problem with a gas pump releasing. I really felt that it had been tampered with to ensure that people just fill up their cars and not just add a few dollars of gas.
