DO NOT GO HERE! A lady with long blonde hair wasn't doing anything when we walked by and my son needed a haircut. He's 4 and has had haircuts multiple times. She gave zero cares about him and did nothing to make sure he was ok. Instead she ended up cutting his ear because she didn't care at all. She's awful!!!! The cut was as awful as the service!! I went here for a haircut because it was near my job and convenient. Never again will I go somewhere without checking the reviews first. I asked her if she could do my beard and haircut and she did the whole thing in probably less than 5 minutes and couldn't have been less friendly. You would think she was blindfolded by the way I look. Everything is uneven, too long here too short there, and all i wanted something simple. She then shaved my neck w a dull razor I think she just soaks in alcohol instead of changing it. She cut my neck all up and didn't offer any alcohol to disinfect me. Do not risk your health or waste ur money at this place. She should not be cutting hair something is shady about the whole thing. read more

I should have read Yelp reviews first. I also got by far the worst haircut of my adult life. She did it with a few big gulp passes of the clipper. I imagine a prison haircut would be like that. Then an equally quick neck shave with what felt like a dull razor, leaving scratches / scabs so probably unsafe. Did not offer to let me look at the result, so I only saw the chop job when I got home. read more

Shelly's shears are fast and accurate, and the price is reasonable ($14) for a basic cut. Public servants (cops/fire and military) are $10. It had been a couple of years since Shelly cut my hair, but she remembered me and asked about my kids. That's a nice touch. read more

I rarely rate any place and honestly hate doing this but I literally just got my hair cut here and in good faith cannot recommend this place. We had a quick conversation which was pleasant, however, I have had an undercut for almost as long as I've been growing my hair out, about 2 years... and today is the day I am forced to shave it all off. It is completely uneven and with almost reckless abandon, the haircut lasted 5 minutes tops. I was literally pulling clumps of hair out after getting it cut here. Luckily it's just hair and it will grow back, but the last thing I expected to do was cut all my hair off today. read more

When most people think of a barber shop these days, old dinosaurs who are perhaps no longer steady-handed enough to handle sharp objects come to mind. After all, for most younger people going to beauty school the swirling barber symbol lacks the cache of a hair salon. This fact alone probably makes Shelly an odd duck. She's certainly hip and glam enough to be going the Sassoon route, but the heart of a traditionalist seems to beat within her, she treats her clients to the value and artistry of the barbershop and all the creature comforts that go with it. Shelly is personable and very skilled, she remembers her clients -- even going so far as to remind them what they wanted the last time or the time before that. She can pull off a sweet fade in record time, unlike some places that labor over it like it's an ice sculpture. Though she's quick, she makes your 10-20 minutes in the chair fun with some easy conversation. Shelly's popularity in town used to mean long waits, but after a long and arduous search, she has two chairs open with a very competent associate. If you want a reasonably-priced haircut with no attitude in a casual setting, go see the next great hope for a dying breed. And yep, she uses straight razors with warm shaving cream. Due to construction, the location of this place has changed. The phone number listed here is incorrect but will direct to the new number. Immediately walking in, we were greeted by an empty front room. When we walked to the back I was told to wait up front. The willingness to greet new customers was poorly lacking. What ultimately convinced me to leave this establishment was a displayed corkboard. On this board were patches of various police organizations. First, I am not often fond of open displays of politics and secondly, I am very disappointed when the politics displayed support aggression and force. Got my hair cut here today. It is by far the worst cut I've ever gotten. I told her I wanted a high fade, skin on the sides and trim the top. She is definitely not a stickler for details. Its all uneven and there is a spot on top that clearly shows she hit it harder with the clippers than the rest because it's shorter! She also never once appeared to be looking to see how it looked overall. I am now actively trying to find a place to fix this disaster asap. read more

One sideburn was an inch longer than the other one. She was on the phone while she was cutting my hair and did not check after. Never going back. read more
