I absolutely LOVE Market Street!…read more I wanted to come on here and rave about the Poke Bowl that I got from the sushi section of the store. I am from the West Coast and am pretty particular about seafood as a whole. I've gone into local restaurants and was like ohhhhhh I can taste that this shrimp was frozen. Ohhhh kay... I picked up the Big Wave Poke Bowl because I have seen Asian people working behind the counter and that gave me comfort. This Poke Bowl was delicious!! The fish tasted fresh. I was so happy!! I will definitely get one again and would recommend it to anyone.

We normally love shopping here, but recently they did 3 things that are quite irritating…read more 1. Recently they've been changing up the ReadyMeals in many ways. Firstly they removed the tortillas from the taco kit, eventually replacing the kit with a "bowl" with most of the same ingredients, but seemingly less chicken and no tortillas. A very problematic change they've made to seemingly ALL of their ReadyMeals is removing cooking/heating instructions. Not only does that seem like a hazard, but it certainly makes it quite the challenge when trying to cook a pizza in the oven. Does it need 350 or 400°? Does it need 8, 10, 15, 20, or 25 minutes to properly cook? These factors vary by each type of pizza. Is the fraction of a cent saved on printer ink on the label worth the customer dissatisfaction? I would think not. 2. They removed all the wall art of the history of Wichita Falls, which had previously made the store feel more "local" and less "uninspired corporate cookie cutter location." 3. They moved the Dublin sodas (a local to Texas brand) to 4 different places around the store and have slowly been phasing them out. Of course, starting with our favorite 1891 Founder's Recipe Cola, followed by our second favorite the Cherry Limeade. We used to buy 6-12 bottles every 1-2 weeks. Normally I could see this being an issue with a lack of demand, but they were constantly sold out of those 2 flavors. I don't expect the 2nd change to be addressed, but it would be nice if the 1st and 3rd would be addressed. Regardless, staff is always friendly and helpful.

We did a favor and had to pick up a few kids after school in Marlow for someone. We didn't pay attention to the receipt until we got out to the truck, but I thought it seemed a little high. We bought 4 items and every single one was overcharged. We didn't bother going back in as we didn't have time to deal with it at that point, and really, it wasn't a ton of money. But I still wanted to put it out there for others. Sometimes this happens at stores, but every single item? I found it odd. It would matter more to someone that was buying a ton of groceries. In any case, the store was very clean, the service was quick, and the staff was friendly. It is refreshing. It is also nice to do my part for small local businesses. Perhaps I would go back if they put the advertised or posted prices in the register.

Pulled into the market went in, seemed fine, got a few things. towards the end noticed more than a couple employee's paying attention to us, at check out three of them watching us, the bagger carried our grocery bag to the door I had to take it from him or he might have "escorted us further, seemed like he wanted to make sure we left, strange, until we got to the car and saw the red truck across the street sitting there watching, the red truck had passed the store and obviously turned back. Small towns have paranoid people in small towns. Were both over 60 driving a minivan, wouldn't seem like a threat but pot smokers and paranoid people are all over the place so I am not surprised. Will never go back there, will not spend any money in Marlow, the prices in that market were outrageous anyway. the residents would save even driving to the next town. As soon as we left so did the red truck. By the way we live here, we had just bought this car with out of state license plates.

Tom Thumb - LOVE Tom Thumb "Organics" fresh herb salad. Very herby w/tons of radicchio. (EVOO & Lemon Balsamic) Highest Recommendations.

Oh my, Where to start…read more This used to be my favorite Grocery store. Thank God I don't have to shop here anymore. For the past couple of years, hubby has gotten the dark chocolate fondant white cake here for his birthday. The bakery here used to be excellent. This year hubby wanted that same cake so we came to order it & I showed her the photo of it & she told me they don't make them anymore. She couldn't tell me why. So hubby looked around & saw a gorgeous "Tres leches cake with fruit" and he LOVES that so he said "I don't care I want this one" so we bought that one. However, while we were there I was also looking at the fresh baked breads & they were all really small & kinda deformed. That means the staff aren't PROOFING the dough long enough. It's not rocket science. However, pandemic slackers, no one wants to work, bla bla bla, I can imagine no one left here is smart enough to know how to bake. To Management: "The only employee that has ever been helpful & mentally capable of running anything is the employee "Ronnie" who ironically owns a food company. I bet he could run the bakery. Just a thought." Anyhoo, we get the cake home & it said: "Tres Leches FRUIT Cake" on the label, but turns out, it was a Tres Leches cream cake with no fruit. So the label was even wrong. Luckily, Hubby LOVED the Tres Leches cream cake, even better than the Tres Leches fruit cake he occasionally gets. So no harm no foul. All turned out well astonishingly. However, having only one excellent cake is not enough to make us return anytime soon. Please fix the bakery. Bring back the dark chocolate fondant white cake.

I did…read moreencounter one employee who was very helpful at showing me where the section I was looking for was. When I first walked in I realized I was wearing a patriotic t-shirt I had bought at a Walmart in Arizona so naturally I wouldn't have the receipt with me. I stopped the first young man with a Walmart shirt on that I encountered and asked him if he would vouch for me that I walked in wearing it and didn't put it on on the store and try to walk out with it. He said, "I don't really care one way or the other." Then he told me they were plenty of cameras so I figured I'd have a record of the fact that I walked in wearing it and stopped worrying but it wasn't a very polite answer. The girl at the cash register just kept staring at me while I was paying. She did say thank you when I was done but was almost glaring at me. You think after they read all the reviews about unpleasant encounters with employees they would try to do a better job of training them to be cheerful. Who wants to go back to the store or you aren't treated like a valued customer? I think this is billed as a super Walmart but I've been in many super Walmarts and I wouldn't think this qualified, too small, not enough variety of merchandise to qualify as a super Walmart.
