There were protectors used so the hoses did not scuff or dirty the paint on the walls through the house. Now down to the finished product. We am have some carpet that was from the prior owner. Lowe's and other local carpet places were not able to accommodate our schedule in getting carpet so we chose to have it cleaned. We are so glad we went that route! They brought these carpets back! I've learned the hard way, and my carpets are worse for it. It all started in November 2014. I wanted the carpets cleaned before company came for Thanksgiving. They were running a three room special for around 80 bucks and so I scheduled them. When the representative arrived he looked disheveled, sloppy, and cranky. He was in and out of the house, on his phone, sitting in his truck, and generally not acknowledging our presence or even seeming that he would start working for a good twenty to thirty minutes. Finally the cleaning started and he appeared rushed. Some of the stains/dirt were coming up, but he pretty much grazed over everything, occasionally spraying a concentrate on some areas. After the cleaning, we walked through to inspect. The carpets were really soggy; wetter than any other time I've had them steam cleaned. The carpet looked better than what it did and so we closed the transaction. Three days later, the carpets were finally fully dry! Way too long to dry. But I noticed a film had been left on the carpet, so any time I'd step on smooth floor I would slip. The carpet was collecting dirt at a rapid rate, and we don't even wear shoes in the house! So after the holiday I called the owner and he said he'd send his guy out to re-clean, for free, to fix the problem. He was informed how wet the carpet was and about the film I felt on the carpet. He said maybe his guy didn't rinse enough. Finally the guy is scheduled to come out and re-clean. Same representative as the first time; still cranky, sloppy, and disheveled. He opens with "so what's the problem?" RUDE! So I explain the issue and he goes through and argues with me that it wasn't possible to take so long to dry and there was no film, and he couldn't feel a film, etc. I told him I didn't call them to argue, I called them to fix the problem and the owner himself said he'd have someone come out and re-clean FOR FREE. The representative refused. I said I was dissatisfied because of all the issues that were happening after the cleaning (how quickly the rugs were dirtied due to the film) and he still insisted he couldn't re-clean, just rinse. Finally after about fifteen minutes of arguing he said he'd re-clean, but their product wouldn't give me the results I wanted. WOW!! All I wanted was the cruddy film/dirt removed and hopefully brighten up the carpet, and he says they can't do it. Should have told me their product doesn't clean well the FIRST trip out! I had to send him away because all the guy wanted to do was argue. Did the owner ever call back to find out what was wrong? NO! Poor business management. I will NOT recommend. Now I have napped--up carpets, with a gray film on top, and this guy doesn't acknowledge a creditor complaint, my email complaint/letter, OR the BBB complaint. I couldn't find his business licensing anywhere. Still waiting on a response about that!

Dons Tree Service drove a large truck across the length of my property causing damage to my sprinkler system and also across my drinking water line, to trim trees at the rear of my neighbors property. I wouldn't have known about any of it if it weren't for the neighbor on the other side of my house taking very clear pictures and video of the Dons truck in my yard. Not just on the edge, but turning the whole rig around etc. in my back yard. I called Dons Tree Service and eventually a fellow named Laz called me back. At first, he completely denied that he was on my property. Then after some discussion and my advising of the pictures he admitted that he was (trespassing) and would repair any damage, which ultimately, my neighbor (Laz's client) did at his own additional expense. I asked him how he could possibly think it was OK to just trample my property rights and do damage, all without prior permission from me to even be there. He advised that he knocked on the door but there was no answer, which of course no one answered as I live in MD most of the time. He further advised that he had no choice but to drive on my property as there was no other way to get to my neighbors back yard, which is also not true as there is an access road that the County uses to service a canal that is adjacent to all our properties in the rear. All of this also required me to fly to FL to check my drinking water line to be sure there was no underground leak, which fortunately there was none but I'm still $450.00 out of pocket to be sure there wasn't. I just can't believe that ANYONE IN BUSINESS would have the gall to do the above and be so grossly unethical. Due to the above, I would never use Dons Tree Service (Laz) personally and I only know them based on this experience. However, I feel as though its incumbent upon myself to advise review readers and potential clients of my experience so they may decide for themselves if this is a business worthy of your trust.
