Sheraton in Sopot is by far my favorite choice to stay in this town. Perfect location directly by the coastline with private sandy beach, magnificent rooms with spacy bathrooms, very large king beds and reach breakfasts with fresh squeezed juices, fresh made scrabmble eggs or pancakes delivered to sea view tables during summer. It is also in the heart of this cute small town, where from May till end of August beats the heart of fun. The only thing I am missing is decent swimming pool, as the one here is really very small and dark, which is a pity, as it couold easily imagine it facing the sea... WIth all the disadvantages of 5 star hotel, like everywhere in the world, paid internet, paid breakfasts and pricey parking, this is one of the best Sheratons in Europe I've been to. And off the season you can stay here for less than 100$!!! So if you are looking for small boutique hotels or villas, there are plenty of them around. But if you are used to high standard hotel experience, Sheraton would be my pick. read more

Summer has arrived at sandy beach adjacent to five star Sheraton Sopot, with all the top notch service you would expect from such establishment, cool vibe , outdoor hotel bar, Starbucks and bespoke ice cream counter. If you're not a hotel guest, you can hire a lounger and and umbrella, incl. towels and complimentary use of beach facilities. Bliss. What is best is the team working at the bar and handling rental of the ever so comfy loungers. Always polite and smiling. I went to Grand next door and was not greeted as warmly as at the Sheraton. Keep up the good job, Lech & Team! read more

My review will be written in English because I'm guessing a lot of tourists will be checking this hotel out. Here's the thing with this Sheraton - it lies in a very tourist-oriented town. Sopot is a small costal town placed between two cities and it has only one appeal, really - it's super beautiful during the summer season. I lived in one of the neighboring cities for 6 years so I consider myself to be somewhat qualified to look at the Sopot Sheraton and everything that comes along with it through a different and more objective perspective. The hotel itself is awesome. Its location is magnificent - right by the Sopot pier and the beach. You're right by the town's main street (Bohaterow Monte Cassino) and you have immediate access to everything you need (restaurants, clubs, bars, the beach) But here's the thing. This Sheraton is focused on tourists. Spg-guests aren't in their main area of interest. And if you're a gold or platinum member (like us), then you won't be treated in a way you're used to. You'll only be able to eat breakfast in the club lounge and it won't be fresh. They'll only have a small buffet available and there's a very small amount of tables so there's a slight chance you won't be able to sit down once you get there. My partner in crime said it's sub-standard and I'm more than willing to agree with him. We had a great room with a very fine view but come on.. The breakfast can be compared to the breakfast of a 3-star hotel at its best and when we went down to the desk to ask about the possibility to eat at the restaurant, they told us we couldn't unless we wanted to pay extra for the possibility. (this actually means - gaining access to fresh dairy products, fresh hams and a wider range of foods so it's kind of basic, nothing out of the ordinary really) The club lounge itself it pretty basic too. One white wine, one read wine, one sparkly wine and a small range of olives and nachos as well as desserts (in the evening). Whenever we went there we were pestered by families with very small children running around so I might not be able to look at it from an objective point of view. The Sopot Sheraton also has a spa area (we didn't try it though), a pool (I didn't check it out, my partner in crime did but he didn't say anything about it) and a small gym, where I went twice. The equipment is super modern and if you're into working on your arms and all of that, you'll like it, because a vast majority of their equipment is focused on your arm muscles. They have like four or five treat mills and some cardio equipment. I was satisfied with what they had so the gym is definitely worth checking out. Don't count on the lobby personnel though, they have no idea what they're doing and we wasted a lot of time dealing with their errors yesterday. Generally, there are so many awesome hotels in Sopot. Check them out before you make your final decision and don't base it on the fact that this one's a Sheraton. read more
