Almost everything has been designed by the shop owner's themselves so you can expect to find a lot of original and unique item's. Personally my favourite item has to be the mugs printed with 'I LOVE STOKEY' which I think would make a great present for anyone in the who lives in the area. It's important to point out that this shop isn't all about novelty and stocking fillers. Most the cards and wrapping paper are stylishly understated and there is a large selection of posh toiletries and candles too. Though it might be a bit expensive for me to buy my wrapping paper from Early Bird every time there is a birthday on the horizon, I would definitely recommend it for the occasional special gift.

There are a number of fun gifts such as 'I love Stokey Mugs' and novelty moustaches as well as more sensible presents such as moleskin notebooks. The two men who work there are lovely and very funny- they spent the half an hour I was in there arguing about Doctor John and who should do the washing up that had been there for three days. Oliver Bonus is one of those shops that sells a bit of everything, Clothes, stationary, jewellery, cosmetics and items for the home to name but a few. This branch is large, and very interior design orientated, filled with sofas, chandeliers and nic naks for your posh home. And you'll pay a large price too. Although the content of the shop is very nice, i find it a little smug. But that's just my opinion, and with 24 stores around London they're obviously doing something right!

I stopped here on a whim while visiting the other sights in Greenwich and really enjoyed it. The…read moremuseum is very, very small, so I only spent about 45 minutes here. They provide audioguides if you wish to use one, but I mostly just read the available signage. I enjoy fashion history, so I found the museum to be quite interesting and of course all of the fans were beautiful. Unfortunately, The Orangery was closed when I visited. They do not serve tea every day, which was a bit disappointing. Be sure to check the website before you visit to make sure they are open if you are hoping to enjoy tea here. The staff in this museum are all very lovely and I had a really enjoyable chat with a few of the staff members. If you enjoy art or fashion, this is a good place to stop if you have a bit of extra time in Greenwich. I wouldn't go out of my way to come all the way out here, but it is a nice complement to the other sights in Greenwich. Admission is only a couple of pounds, so if you need to fill a bit of time, it is worth the stop.

The afternoon tea service was wonderful - it came with a pot of tea. scones, clotted cream, jelly, carrot cake, and choice of lemon drizzle or salted caramel brownie, It is also served in a beautifully decorated room with a garden view. The museum was an added treat and it was fun to explore their fan collection which spans the globe and covers different time periods. One point to note is that you do need to buy an admission ticket to the museum to enjoy their tea service menu but it's worth it. Highly recommend!

To be honest, it's probably not the best exemplar of any of them ; there are definetly cheaper antiques ( Suffolk is good for that sort of thing), bigger architectural salvage yards ( solopark in Cambridgeshire) and Georgian houses in better nick, but the combination is a rare one. Apparently they also have a flooring place in Bermondsey. Well worth a visit, if you need some original features restored, or just a poke about for an hour .

It stood in three acres of riverside parkland, at a time when this area was fields and orchards, with little development. Latterly a British Railways staff social club, it fell into disrepair and was squatted, before being saved by Lassco (hooray for them).
