Anyways after seeing the Dentist the Dentist said I needed 2 Root Canals, I had an absesce under my right front tooth, and I needed6 month treatment of Deep cleaning, which was all a scam, because I take care of my teeth, I went to an endodontics and Dr. HARRINGTON From Tyler Endodontics checked my 2 Damaged teeth that Gladewater family Dentist said I needed 2 Root canals on, and Dr. HARRINGTON said my 2 teeth was good and I didn't need a Root Canal only 2 Crowns, then I went to another Dentist for xrays and I didn't have no absesce under my right front teeth , and I didn't need no deep cleaning treatment, I get my teeth clean 2 times a year and I wear a permanent retainer under my front teeth and bottom teeth, because I have been under an orthodontist care, Gladewater family Dental tried to charge me over 6,000 for work on my teeth that I didn't ever need, and then they kicked me out the back room after saying what my Insurance pay, They are rude and liars at this place and they be scamming people with unnecessary treatments that they don't even need. OMG, not only is Dr. Dinh in-network, but his office is the dentist practice you would envision as the perfect dentist practice if you could make one up. Esmerelda did my full mouth x-rays with aplomb--friendly, efficient and fast. And Natalie was like the quintessential assistant, coordinating the entire visit. No sooner did I check in than she escorted me to my treatment room. Dr. Dinh was the "hail fellow well met," hearty, friendly, genial and informal enough that you could understand your diagnosis and treatment plan. (Pictures were gross and my mouth wouldn't look like that in 20 years with no dentist visit) come on man!!! Once you started to push back on why this treatment plan was necessary the whole conversation shifted to being talked down to and cost validation which was absolutely ridiculous. I asked four times to print the treatment plan out so I could look at it to help explain what they were very rudely explaining. Instead I got attitude when all I was trying to do is get a grip on the process. Oh and BTW their deep cleaning was 500 dollars over a previous quote gotten just a day prior from another provider. Not to mention the added cost of removing my wisdom teeth that haven't given me one problem in 40 years with not one cavity like ever. Terrible customer experience, by the end of it all they acted if they were offended. Omg really? Maybe try not being pushy and condescending and actually honor the simple request to printing out the quote so I could use it as reference while the explanation of services changed so fast I could have had whiplash. The entire office staff is so friendly and welcoming, and Dr. Roberts really inspired confidence in me. (I also had Dr. Jones work with me while Dr. Roberts was on vacation and trusted him the same.) I had some major dental work and I never felt afraid or unsafe. You can feel that the entire staff enjoys working with each other. I actually ENJOYED my dental appointments! After my last appointment I made an appointment for a cleaning six months later the day before my son was to be married. The week before I received multiple emails and text messages reminding me of my appointment. Upon arrival I checked in at the reception desk in the lobby. The receptionist then said that she needed to go over some charges for today's appointment. Then she said loudly "You don't have any dental insurance right!" I said no that I recently turned 65 and all my insurance has changed but I was planning to pay for today's cleaning out of pocket. She then said that today's bill would be 368.00. I said for a cleaning? She said that they wanted to do X-rays also. I said I I would only be needing a cleaning today. She said I don't think she will do the cleaning unless you agree to the X-rays. She then said "Would you like me to ask her " I said absolutely. She left and came back and said she would not do the cleaning until I had the funds to cover the X-rays.
