When I bought my condo a year and a half or so ago - the builder, Beazer, used McCormick brand…read morepaints to paint the place. Beazer left me with a pint of the wall paint and a pint of the trim paint for touchups. I recently used up most of that pint of wall paint for repainting a couple of sections of wall in the living room after having the walls ripped open for a custom surround sound speaker cable run for my HD TV setup. I figured I had better get some more of this paint and hold it in reserve just in case (you never know when the manufacturer is going to discontinue a color!). I found that McCormick Paint is not available at Home Depot or Lowe's - you have to go to their own stores. Fortunately, there is one nearby in Manassas. I've gone by here once before on a Saturday afternoon - but they have limited hours on Saturdays - they close at noon. It's located on Route 28 south of Manassas - a bit just past the interchange of Route 28 and the Prince William County Parkway/Route 28 Bypass. So I made a point to get there about 11:30 am this morning. They had what I needed in stock! Picked up a gallon of their "Tempo Premium - Interior Semi Gloss Acrylic Enamel 18012 Designer White." Cost was $33 and change. Guy snagged me a gallon, rang me up, and I was on my way!

A representative named Sherry (I hope that's spelled correctly) answered the phone and she told me that they had several gallons of the stain I was looking for. I told her that I was going to stop by the next day and she said she would have them shaken and ready for me when I got there. I wanted to right this review because her customer service was outstanding. I highly recommend this location and I will be coming back in the future for all of my paint/stain needs even though it is further away from where I normally go to.

I bought vinyl but that disn't work so decided to visit the actual Benjamin Moore store in Leesburg and they were a lot of help. First they advised nothing else in that line would work (confimed flat was no longe sold) and suggested another brand that they would mix (lesser cost) and sugested trying that or mixing it with the old flat and see if that would work. Great suggestions and I was given a discount using the vendor who was regitered at the store.
